My new replacement mattress smells so bad I can't use it. I have it a room with fans blowing and I hope the smell will go away. My first purple mattress has a slight smell, but didn't smell as horrible as this replacement mattress. Did the Purple company change the way the mattress is made??? I don't know if I will ever be able to use this new mattress because the smell is so terrible. I'm very disappointed. Janet Ernst

Honestly, I wanted to return the mattress after the first week. I am so grateful the return policy makes you wait 21 days (so your body has a chance to adjust to the new mattress) because now my husband and I LOVE it! In fact, I stay at my mom's once a month and loved her mattress compared to my old one and dreaded having to go back home to sleep in my own bed (I know...weird), however, this past weekend when I was there, I didn't love the bed at her house more anymore and I couldn't wait to get home to my Purple mattress!!

It took time for my bones to adjust but now I am quite well. Firm and soft as promised. I have tried many solutions (even costly) and this one is different and works for me. However I had to struggle to find the appropriate base. At fist my flexible slats were too much and i had to choose a firm solution to let the mattress only do its job. It is a perfect match with the pillow.

My boyfriend immediately loved the mattress, but it took me a while. I think the issue was that I was using a Temperpedic pillow and somehow having that with the Purple mattress was not comfortable, even though I had used that pillow for years. After switching to a standard pillow, though, it became much more comfortable for me and now I'm a big fan. Beyond it being comfortable, I love that I don't get as hot as I normally do.

I had a task to find a mattress that me and my husband could sleep on he likes his very firm I like mine a little firm but not too firm he has neck and back problems I have degenerative disc disorder my husband and I love our purple bed if we get a camper we want one for the camper wouldn't by any other mattress in the world it's the best thing we've ever slip on

I've been sleeping on my original purple mattress for about 3 weeks now. Every time I sit or lie down on it angels blow their trumpets somewhere as I rejoice in the incomparable comfort. Both my wife and I are obsessed with it. We sleep different, but it's great for side and back sleepers. Also, the lower back pain I've felt with for awhile is slowly leaving me. Don't get me wrong, our previous mattress was a piece of garbage, but the purple is simply extraordinary.

First of all Purple is a great company with advancing product, technology, and customer service. The commercials and product presentations are hilarious and make me feel entertained as well as educated. Now The Mattress! (Original Classic Purple Queen Mattress) Being 6'1" tall and 180 lbs 24 years old. I am a combination sleeper for my back, stomach, and side. I can easily get comfortable in any position. The polymer grid cradles my pressure points as well as keeping my spine in line. The grid also keeps me very cool being that it has great airflow. I would also recommend the Purple Bamboo Sheets which help compliment that airflow. Coming from a 17 year old Twin size spring mattress and upgrading to a Classic Purple Queen Mattress is a very dramatic difference and I have no regrets. For better piece of mind give it a shot! Customer service is great and will take care of all of your issues or questions. With my old bed, I woke up the next morning feeling tired or something hurting... I have had my new bed (Purple Mattress) for a month now and I've not woken up like that AT ALL... I'm relaxed, and feel like I had a good night sleep.. My husband and I agree on what we hate about it... and that's having to get up! (LOL) Seriously, if you are "thinking" about this purchase... just do it! you will NOT regret it at all!! -Muncy

Have had the original queen purple and it's alto more stiff than I was expecting.from the adds and comments I was reviewing I expected way better.wake up with soar ribs in the morning find myself switching sides through the night, not what I expected for the money purple!
