It is smooth. The container is also so easy for on the go! The milk is shelf stable and doesn't need to be refrigerated making storage/packing so easy. Our new go to for on the go days!

To my surprise a lactose free chocolate milk like this definitely hits the mark. It has a subtle cocoa flavor that kills the craving without the overwhelming sugary sweetness that some drinks have. A healthy alternative that allows me to indulge is always a plus for me. Also, as said before being lactose free, it is easy in the stomach to those with that sensitivity. Thumbs up for Horizon on this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to try this Horizon no added sugar chocolate milk and my almost 4 year old has been drinking it too. My son seems to like it and has asked for a carton a couple of times. He has tried quite a lot of chocolate milks and hasn't mentioned anything about this tasting different to others but I do think there is a noticeable difference to regular refrigerated chocolate milk without reduced sugar. It's really convenient that it has a longer date (ours had around two months before the best before) so it might be something we buy to have as a backup for when we don't have fresh milk in the house or as a convenient way to drink on the go.

The taste is rich and chocolatey without being overly sweet, and the texture was smooth and creamy. I also loved the quality ingredients that were in it. My kids absolutely loved it and kept asking for more. This is their new favorite chocolate milk and definitely going to be bought again.

He couldn't even tell any difference between the reduced sugar and regular horizon chocolate milk!. Mom win!! I love that it has reduced sugar and is also lactose free to help his growing digestive system. This is an easy switch to make without any effort!

I also appreciate that it is lactose free, has no added sugar and has vitamins A & D plus 8g of protein in each serving. Tastes fresh and delicious, I let mine sit in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes and it was so refreshing. It has a straw attached to each box which makes it very convenient to drink on the go. Each box contains 8 fl oz and to me that's the perfect serving amount for a yummy snack or a midday boost.
