I was really excited to try this one because it has no added sugar and 8g of protein. It tastes just as good as “regular” chocolate milk, but it’s not nearly as sweet! It even has that same thick, creamy taste that I love about chocolate milk. I also thought the straw was SO cool and smart! It made it really convenient to throw in my gym bag for a quick protein snack before or after a workout. I would definitely recommend this chocolate milk and will be buying it again!

Not only will they drink it, the mostly seems to like it, and I like that it has 8g of sweet sweet protein, allowing them to stave off low blood sugar crashes and get ripped at the same time. They can open the boxes themselves, which is nice, and the collapsing straws make cleanup a breeze. Horizon, you’ve done it again!

Some chocolate milk can get an overly sweet, almost sickly taste - and I love that this isn’t like that. Is this as good as chocolate milk from the refrigerated section? No, but I wouldn’t expect it to be. Love that I can keep it in the cupboard and enjoy when I have a craving.

He loves the taste and hasn't even mentioned it tasting different due to no sugar. The cartons are durable and not easily knocked over even when it's near empty. This is a new staple in our house!

The dietary benefits are a huge win for us-it's low-fat (1%), lactose-free, has no added sugar, and still manages to pack 8 grams of protein into every box. Plus, the shelf-stable, single-serve 8 oz cartons don't require refrigeration before opening, making them incredibly convenient to toss into school lunchboxes or pack for travel. My only minor gripe is with the attached straw design, which can let in air or get tricky to use once the carton is half empty, sometimes forcing me to just unwrap the top and chug it down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While it is nice to have a chocolate milk product that can be safely stored in variable temperatures and not just in the fridge the taste is certainly lacking. It truly just tastes like a fully watered down chocolate milk, while it is drinkable and not something I’d turn my nose up to it is not something I would likely purchase again or care to recommend. The packing however is rather nice, I like that the straw is reminiscent of a caprisun that you jam through the top of the carton, especially since it’s something that extends once you take it out of the packaging.
