[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received for free from Influenster for my honest review the Cascade Platinum Gel Fresh liquid dishwasher detergent. The detergent is very easy to use, smells good and does a good job cleaning my dishes. I have used it with pots/pans, glass and plastic. My dishwasher is fairly quiet and the detergent did not add to the noise level. The detergent is a thick liquid consistency. It is easy to add to the dishwasher. The bottle is a fairly good size but comes with a handle to help. The formula seems to do a good job and smells good as well. Overall for the price and how much you get I don’t think it is a bad value.

I appreciate the lid having a safety seal as we have little ones in the house. The gel is on the thicker side so you know it’s good quality and not runny. I also like this bottle size as it will last us we are a bigger household and can always use more dish soap.

It has a fresh scent and even a small amount cleans my dishes, pots and pans so well. It's very strong in removing tough grease and oily dishes. The jar lasts me for quite a while. Packaging is leak proof too.

Truth be known, I was already a fangirl for cascade products. I’ve used some of their other products and was excited to try this liquid! The safety cap is a good feature, and opened easily while squeezing on the marked lid area. It pours out with a little squeeze, so you don’t end up spilling or pouring out too much. The concentrated liquid is thick and substantial. Then, I set it and forget it. The moment of truth comes when I open the dishwasher door hours later. And…violá!
