[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade is my brand of choice for dishwasher detergent; however, I don't feel like this liquid detergent gets my dishes as clean as the pods do. I am not sure what the ingredient difference is, but this liquid seems to leave some residue and food speckles on the dishes sometimes. I ended up rewashing the load with a pod. The scent is nice, but doesn't really matter once the dishwasher is closed. I will probably stick with my pods going forward, as they are more convenient and give a better clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the gel fresh Cascade Platinum and I'm impressed. The product is easy to dispense and left no residue in the dishwasher or on dishes. My dishes were spotless and I had a casserole dish that needed a bot of pre-scrubbing and that was not only easy to use my casserole was shiny and spotless. My dishes and glassware over time have consistently been clean and spotless I can recommend this for anyone who wants spotless clean dishes consistently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does a great job removing stuck-on food without me having to pre-rinse my dishes, which saves me time and water. Everything comes out clean, including glasses and silverware, with no cloudy residue left behind. It's super easy to use, just pour into the dispenser and that's it. The large bottle also lasts a long time, and the scent is light and pleasant. Definitely one of the best dishwasher detergents I've used and I'll keeping buying.

It has a light, clean fresh scent. The cleaning performance is excellent. It cuts through dried on food, grease, and stuck on mess without having to prerinse my dishes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is some great dishwasher gel. I baked lasagna the other night. Lots of baked on cheese and sauce. This Cascade Platinum really powered through that tough baked on food effortlessly. I didn't have to rerun anything and my dishes came out of the wash sparkling. I filled the soap dispenser and the prewash tray in my unit and this stuff went to work. It is a bit more liquidy than the usual Cascade that I'm used to. But, it's more powerful, in my opinion. I didn't have to pre-rinse. Literally filled the machine, filled the dispensers, and started the cycle. I came back to shining, clean dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the product performance is very good. It is removing all the food, grease, sticky residues… plates come up sparkling clean. However there is still a smell left that requires re-rising with bleach. Also the chemicals in the product are a bit of a concern to me. Even if I can clearly see the performance.

In terms of effectiveness, it does an excellent job removing grease, dried food and everyday stains, leaving dishes sparkling clean. It also offers good value since a small amount goes a long way , making each bottle last longer then expected.
