It has a fresh scent that leaves dishes and machine smelling fresh and clean. The only con is pouring it because it can be messy. Over all I do like it but prefer the pods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've ever used a gel dishwasher detergent that wasn't already inside a little pod. Pros: I feel like it cleans better than powder. It smells good, like almost too good for dish soap? Cons: it's a little less efficient than just grabbing a pod. If the cost is better than the pods when I'm shopping, I might still opt for this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cascade Platinum gel is super easy to use and and got my dishes clean. It smells fresh and it seems like the formula is great for when you don't feel like scrapping your dishes before adding to the dishwasher. It's a great size, easy to store under the sink and easy to pour into the dishwater.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with the outcome of this platinum gel. I typically use pods but I actually think I'm going to switch over to this gel. It left everything sparkling clean and it didn't leave any residue like some pods do. It didn't make a mess and the dishwasher is clean and has no left overs from the wash. It also smells wonderful which is a plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched recently to non pod dishwasher soap because we were wondering if our dishes would keep smelling after a wash (that soapy detergent smell)… and it did. This product works great and cleans so well

It's easy to use, just pour it into the right compartment in your dishwasher and let it do its job. Your dishes come out clean, streak free. It pre-treats, cleans and removes buildop all in one.

The gel dissolves easily in the wash and there is no residue once the dishes are washed. Cascade is my go to brand when it comes to washing dishes.
