I used to be a gym rat. I used to get things done. That all changed once I got the Purple mattress. Suddenly, days became shorter and there was never enough time to do things. This mattress is just too comfortable! Time sems to slip by so quickly when you're lying in comfortable bliss. All your worries slowly sink into the enveloping softness of the mattress as you lay there.

The mattress was delivered by Fed Ex to the wrong house on the wrong day--there were conflicting emails from Purple and fed ex as to when it would arrive, had someone there to recieve it on what we were told was the delivery date by Fed ex. No one there when they delivered it a day early to accept it, so had to leave work way early to get it inside, since there has been a rashof package thefts from my neighborhood. It was delivered to a neighbor, someone I did not know, who was in this instance kind enough to call me. Fed Ex picked it up from a unknown neighbor, and delivered it the next day, which necessitated yet another day home from work. Got it inside unrolled it. Had called Purple a month or so before to find out if a plywood sheet could function in lieu of of a platform bed, since I love my bed frame and did not want to have to pay for a platform bedframe-either theirs or anyone elses, since i love my own bedframe. I was on hold for 25 minutes with Purple, finally gave up and selected option for someone to call me back. No one from Purple ever called me back. Used platform sheet in lieu of buying expensive platform bed. Mattressis way too hard. I have nerve imingement in my outer thigh, made it worse. It hurts my lower backand aggravates alumbar problem. My legs feel as if they have been ina curled up position for 12 hours straight, even though I have only been lying on the mattress for 7-8 hours. Very cramped. Am trying to give it more time, maybe there is an adjustment period? Will probably return. Will keep you posted.

With my old mattress, i was constantly waking up with back pains. Now with Purple, I sleep and wake up extremely refreshed which is something I haven't experienced for a long time. I would say the original mattress is not firm by any means. Its more on the softer side due to the design.

I have a terrible back injury and have sleep number bed as my main bed but I have two purple mattresses in my guest room and in my son's room. While you cannot adjust them they are fantastic and are on par with the much more expensive sleep number bed. I'm not sure how they are made but I could sleep on the purple mattress all night no problem . I have pain no matter what but this mattress help greatly lessen it.

We choose the basic purple to replace our 20 year old pillowtop. It was pricey, but believed the hype. It is quite firm to sleep on, so if you are into that, this mattress is for you. One of the higher end versions might be more to our comfort liking, but the price point is ridiculous.

We love it !!!! My dad and mom sold us on it and we sold my brother on it!!! My brother is waiting for his to be shipped. My Husband has said this is the best he has slept in 20 years. I think what would complete it is with the pillows !!!! Over all we are extremely pleased with customer service with the product and how fast it shipped Thank you !!!!!

And by cool..I mean literally cool. My body is like a furnace and this matress keeps me nice and cool for much longer than any other matress I've slept on, making it so much easier for me to fall asleep in. Had it about a month now and I'm very pleased with the purchase!

We absolutely LOVE our Purple Mattress! My husband and I have always felt sweaty hot while sleeping, no matter what the temperature in the room has been. Purple cools us right down and is the most comfortable mattress I've EVER slept on! It doesn't cure every sleeping ailment, but it makes everything so much more pleasant. THANK YOU, PURPLE! (We are so excited about the Purple pillow coming out next year!)

Every bed i've ever slept on has always given me body aches at some point despite how comfortable they are at first feel. I've struggled with tossing and turning my whole life. The purple mattress has the perfect softness i've always been looking for in a bed and does not give me aches at all. I don't even wake up during the night! I'm a combination sleeper and the purple mattress is so soft and comfortable that as soon as my body hits the mattress im dead until my alarm rings. I wake up dazed and confused sometimes because it feels as if i've overslept, but it's because i had a great night's sleep. I would 100% recommend the purple mattress. Best product i've ever purchased hands down.

It's only been about 3 weeks and I am starting to worry this mattress won't work for me. I am 5'1" and about 160lbs. I am a side sleeper and I am in pain. I couldn't wait for this mattress and now I am in tears every morning from waking up in pain. The best way to describe it is I feel like I was in a car accident every time I wake up. My whole body aches and my ribs feel bruised. I start tossing and turning around 2am. Will probably return it.
