After trying to fall asleep on a very old mattress for years, we now sleep at night. (Even when our kids crawl into bed with us.). It actually does make a difference. Mattresses don't last forever - that's not a lie. The adjustable bed frame is also a game-changer. After having a box spring for years, I had no idea how we'd benefit from the adjustable frame. It alleviates pressure from the lower back.

Best mattress I've owned to date. I doubt I will return it. I'm a big fellow, 6' 240 lbs./ an engineer with a bad back. When the mattress was brand new, it was rather firm, which I really liked. Now I find the mattress somewhat softer, but it is still the best mattress in the house. (7 different mattresses in the house) I am a restless sleeper, I sleep on my back 60% / my side 40%. The mattress is great overall. If I could make a change, it would be to make it slightly firmer. The design / concept definitely works. Thank you!

I haven't had it for the full 100 nights yet, I'm at 60+. I love the bed. I got used to it very quickly and find myself making excuses to lay on it after work! I also bought the sheets and bed frame. The sheets are awesome and comfortable. The pillow cases are huge though. The bed frame is nice and sturdy.

When doing research, Purple came up in the top 5 mattresses for side sleepers. I was skeptical but made the purchase anyway after watching the unboxing video on YouTube. I put the mattress in the guest room we had just remodeled so it didn't get slept on for a while. I recently had a minor procedure done and decided to take a nap in that room and slept very well.

The Purple mattress was the best thing since sliced bread for the first few weeks compared to our old bed, However after that it just became like any other bed it was just there and we slept in it. We are about a year and half into the purple mattress and it does seem that it has sagged a small amount as i have started waking up with a slight discomfort. I am going to give it 2 more months to see if its me or the bed then i will update this review.

It always feels a little risky to be a 'pioneer', especially when it comes to a matter as serious as a good night's sleep. The Purple Mattress seemed only a little risky, though, given the thoroughness of the online presentation. So, we ordered one, a king size. Our initial impression on the first night was, "Uh-oh. This mattress is *way* too soft!" But we were exhausted and ready for sleep, and sleep came swiftly. The next morning I was amazed that my chronic backache -- exacerbated in recent days by the stress and labor involved in moving to a new home -- was completely gone. And I'd had one of the best night's rests in a long time. Additional nights on the mattress have confirmed that first night's impressions. If there's a drawback, it's that it take a little more effort move around on the mattress. However, on this mattress, it's not necessary to move much, or toss and turn, to find a comfy spot and get a good rest. Great bed.

After years of using hand-me-down mattresses I finally decided to buy the purple mattress that I've been eyeballing for months. I kid you not I always spent my nights tossing and turning and never slept longer than 4 hours at a time but since I broke that mattress in I haven't woke up a single time and I've become a sleep-dropper. Literally life changing :)

I love the bed. I think it sleeps fantastic. I'm not sure it stays quite as cool through the night as advertised. But it's definitely cooler than my old bed. I main reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the pillows recommended (Harmony) don't really fit a Cal King. The purple pillow cases that came with my sheet sets are Cal King but the Harmony pillow is Queen. When buying as a set it should all match IMO.

I thought it was going to be more comfortable than it was. it was a quality product. But for people who are used to pillow top or memory foam, it felt like we were sleeping on a rock for about 3 weeks. After 3 weeks we had to break down and purchase a really expensive thick pillow topper for our bed, just so we could get a good nights rest. We have a lot of the Purple products and have loved all of them, so we were a little disappointed in the bed. Hopefully it will soften over time.

We have had this bed for 2 months and still love it. Our back pain went awat within a few weeks. I hope it is this comfortable in 10 years! It is very heavy so have help lifting it up the stairs. It stays nice and cool too. We feel better rested in the morning.
