Our Purple mattress arrived by Fed Ex and was packaged small enough to fit inside my car so I could take it home. It was heavy but not unreasonable for 2 people to carry inside. I loved how quick and easy it was to unwrap and fill out. 10 minutes tops and I could have gone to sleep after unwrapping. Very comfortable! My partner and I did have a few nights of adjusting to the Purple mattress but it is so nice once you get used to it. My partner sleeps hot but with this mattress he has much less issues with overheating at night. I enjoy it very much and will recommend all friends and family in need of a new mattress. LOVE IT!

I have the bed for a year and a half now and bought it when I was pregnant. I was very uncomfortable throughout the end of my pregnancy and switched from my 6k temperpedic bed to the purple bed. After the 90 days I could not get comfortable, but thought it was because I was pregnant only, so I kept the bed. After I had my little one and now 1.5 yrs later sleeping on the purple bed, my back still hurts. I can not get comfortable at all. Just when I've rolled around the bed thinking this is the spot, i wake up 20 minutes later to feel like i have been sleeping on concrete. This bed was not for me. No matter how many toppers I use, I still feel like I'm sleeping on a concrete slab. I am a fan of the purple protector sheets though.

We purchased our mattress, pillows and sheet about a month ago and are having the greatest sleep of our lives! It was a leap of faith buying online without being able to try the Purple in a showroom, but we read a lot of reviews and watched several videos before making our decision. I tell all my friends and family to give Purple a try and they won't be sorry!

We've had this mattress and frame from now for a few weeks. First the frame, the good it was easy to assemble, leaves a good bit of room below if you want to use for storage. The bad: Don't over tighten the bolts or it starts to bend the wall on the frame. it doesn't take much. Don't move the bed once the mattress is on this will bend the supports. The frame squeaks. The headboard is also an issue, using the headboard mount kit that came with the frame, the headboard attaches but is a good bit off the ground and leave a large gap between the bottom of the headboard and the bed, it seems that the mounting bracket failed to consider the higher base, and lower mattress. I would consider other options for the bed/frame, but it's not bad enough for me to replace just yet. Next the mattress. It unrolls very easily have a pair of scissors to get through the zipper then use the tool included, and note that this is a heavy mattress. For sleeping on your back the mattress feels like a high-quality foam with good support cool support. Side sleeping is a different story as my pressure points sit on the hard support foam beneath the 2" cushion/comfort foam/matrix, causing some pain. If you're a back sleeper this is a great mattress. Temperature is great seems to be pretty neutral.

I am so so so happy to have my Purple mattress!! With my previous mattress, I would wake up with so much back pain and was just overall so achy! With the Purple, I have ZERO pain!! I was starting to think that wasn't a possibility... The reason I say "So good, it's bad!" is because my husband has always been an early riser. Even if he was very tired, he could not sleep in past 9am. With this mattress, he is sleeping in until noon!! lol. We are very rested these days. Although the mattress was out of our price range, we steadily saved for what felt like forever until we were able to get it. And it was absolutely worth it!!!!! My ONLY complaint is that it is unbelievably heavy! Not that I'm going to be carrying it around or moving anytime soon. But boy, is it heavy! But I wouldn't choose a different mattress. Wonderful! I don't think I've ever actively made the decision to leave a review on anything before in my life. But let me tell you about this bed. I have EDS (joint problems) and back problems, meaning I somehow need a bed that is both very firm to offer back support and extremely soft on my joints at the same time. Pillow-top firm mattresses were not cutting it. Everything hurt. Except this mattress, upon which I have the best sleep of my entire life. I genuinely thought I was just a "long sleeper" and someone who struggled to fall asleep and needed 9-10 hours of sleep a night. I struggled to wake up in the mornings and was drowsy for the first hour or two. Now? I actually sleep way LESS on Purple, but not because I'm struggling to stay asleep. I just fall asleep IMMEDIATELY (no hour or two of adjusting), and then sleep so soundly that I wake up 7-8 hours later with absolutely no alarm feeling completely refreshed and awake. I honestly do not have much money and this felt like a huge purchase but I bought myself 2 more hours in my day every single day, did you know it is possible to literally purchase time? I would know because I did it. This is all on the Original, none of the fancy newer models, it's just that good of a bed. I want to live my entire life in this bed, put it on wheels and drive it around town so I never have to leave. I want to personally hug every last person who participated in inventing this bed and offer them veggies I grew in my garden (I do not have a garden but I would make one for the purposes of this.) I have had hip pain since I was 12 years old (I'm 30 now). I have tried so many mattresses over the years but didn't find relief until the purple mattress. I was amazed to wake up after the first night with no hip pain. I have had the mattress a couple of weeks now and I am astonished with how good I feel. The company's claims of a pressure free sleep aren't just false advertising. This mattress puts all others to shame.

After years of poor sleep on a $4000+ select comfort bed, we made the switch to Purple. It took a few days to get used to the new mattress, but now my wife and I both love the Purple mattress. We had drastically different sleep settings before, now we both love the simplicity and support from the Purple. Well worth the switch! And cheaper...

I have suffered from "poor mattress syndrome" for years. Waking up with hip pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain is just an absolute "pain" in the rear, which is the one place I don't have pain from sleeping.... My wife is 5 months pregnant and is been sleeping better now, with Purple, than she did before with our old mattress. My sleep has been about the same, it may have to do with my profession. But we are both happy with Purple. Maybe I should try a Purple pillow? I hear they are a pure, perpetually perfect, pleasing, performing product of a pillow. And they are purple. Thanks

The mattress started out comfortable and progressively became stiffer to the degree that we are now using it with a foam mattress topper just to get some sleep which defeats the whole purpose. Hopefully it softens up over time but it's not looking likely!
