As the title states, I literally vetted every online mattress brand on the market and landed on the purple because I had several recommendations from people I know and based on all of the reviews I had read this seemed to be the best mattress for both a side sleeper (me) and a stomach sleeper (my husband). I felt a lot of pressure when picking because my previous mattress had become such a problem that I couldn't bare the thought of replacing it with something I possibly wouldn't love. I have ZERO regrets about going with the purple. This mattress is amazing and everything it promises it will be. I feel extremely comfortable in any position and have yet to wake up hot (huge bonus for me, a hot sleeper). I have found in my first two weeks of sleeping on it that it is so comfortable I can (and do) continuously wake up in the morning, roll over, and go back to sleep just because I'm so comfortable I don't want to get up. I was struggling with some pretty severe back pain on my previous mattress which has disappeared since unpacking the purple. I have nothing but good things to say about this mattress!! If you're like me and have over-informed yourself about your options and can't decide - take this review as a sign. The purple is THE mattress. Not like any other mattress on the market and the comfort is unmatched. Looking forward to years of amazing sleep on mine!

Another 5 star review for my second Purple mattress. I bought my first one last year (a queen) but recently moved into a bigger house. The queen went to the guest room so we could upgrade to a king! I can't say enough about these mattresses. I rant and rave to my friends about how great they are. The queen is just over a year old now and shows absolutely no signs of damage or deformation. I've never slept better than on a Purple mattress. Thanks, Purple!

We absolutely love this mattress! It was great on our old box springs but once the platform came it was even better!! It's the best support ever...not too hard, not too soft. It's not easy finding a mattress to love especially when you fork out the money only to be unhappy then repeat. The purple bed is affordable and has greatly improved our lives! We can't wait for the pillows to get here!

We have been so pleased with our new mattress! We would wake in occasional back pain with our last bed and this has been a saving grace, waking feeling fully rested. I felt there was an opportunity to improve customer touch points and communication. While I think our order was being held up by FedEx and the issues during the pandemic, the email said to get in touch but didn't explain how and it took almost two days to hear back in Twitter. I admire this brand (as a marketer, and now customer) and had higher expectations for customer service.

keeps me cool., the sheets are great (glad to have gotten them for free!). I wish the gel-matrix top of the mattress was just a bit deeper, but still very great. The warranty is somewhat nuanced. I took pictures to demonstrate that I handled their mattress correctly. I wish they made it easier to demonstrate compliance.

The good is that both my wife and myself are very, very satisfied with the mattress and the performance of it. It is very comfortable and pleasant. Love the pillows too! Now the bad, the way it was shipped in 3 different drops, well was not good. And now the UGLY, waiting over 3 weeks for the actual delivery of the mattress, while i had the sheets and pillows within days of the order, the comforter and other items another week and then over 11 days for the main item.

It took me a few days to get adjusted from my old bed to my new Purple Bed. After that I noticed a hugh difference with the pain in my lower back. I no long have pain in my lower back due to the new purple bed. It is very comfortable and I get great sleep.

It's a good mattress a lot more comfortable than my previous one. I would reccomend it to anyone seeking a good brand and good price. I personally suffer from lumbar spinal pain. The mattress did assist me with it. I highly reccomend the stretchy sheets. It provides the full comfort of the bed.

I want to start by saying that I am 30 years old and I suffer from back problems. We decided to purchase the purple mattress in hopes that I would wake up without aches and pains. There were some reviewers that said that the mattress is super soft, I would have to disagree with this though. The mattress is just right! It's not too soft or too hard and provides support in all the right areas. It took about a week for mine and my husbands bodies to get used to the mattress. I am happy to say that neither of us wakes up during the night anymore and we both wake up pain free! On a side note, I used to prefer sleeping on my side because if I slept on my back for too long it would begin to ache. Now I actually prefer to sleep on my back! I am a new graduate student and so the little sleep that I do get is very precious to me. I am so thankful that we bought this mattress and wouldn't change a thing! I do recommend buying the mattress protector from purple, it is stretchy, cool and doesn't sound like your sliding around on plastic.

I was really excited for this mattress, and upon getting approved through Affirm I was elated when I placed the order for my mattress. After paying and talking with purple, they told me they would not know when my product would be arriving until it was actually shipped. This kinda threw a wrench in things as I was leaving for a business trip in the coming week. They told me a soon as I got a tracking number I would be able to call FedEx and place a hold on the shipment. Fast forward a few days and purple emails me letting me know that my mattress has been shipped, no surprise - the delivery date is one day after I leave for a 3 week business trip. I then call FedExas purple advised me to and requested for them to place a hold on my mattress delivery date. They informed me that normally this would be not a problem and it's called a "vacation hold" but unfortunately purple no longer allowed vacation holds on their shipments (as it's up to the shipper, their expense). Now most people could have it held at a FedEx location for pick up when they get back but I physically am not able to drive for medical reasons, so that was not an option for me. I spoke with a FedEx manager who put a note on the shipment asking them to hold delivery until a certain date and I even left a note on my door asking the driver to hold it - but the mattress was left on my door step. I live in a condo in Miami Beach, not necessarily the best place for packages of any sort to be left on the doorstep. I contacted purple multiple times and asked them to have someone please come pick up the mattress. They told me the only thing I could do was cancel my order and then they would send someone to come pick up the mattress and take it back and then I would have to re-purchase the mattress. This is so far from quality customer service it's insane. Luckily when I returned home the mattress was there, but had been rained on, and was wet inside and out. after opening and allowing the mattress to dry I really have done my best to try and adapt to this mattress the past few weeks but unfortunately I don't think it's for me. I'm not sure if being wet and sitting out in the sun for weeks damaged it but this mattress is just not as advertised. The gel layer on top is not as bouncy or as soft to the touch as the pillow is, and truthfully I wish I did not give my old mattress away because I would be sleeping much better on that. While I'm on that topic, the pillow is an absolute disaster. I am a 6 foot 215 pound male who sleeps on his side often - and this pillow is nearly impossible to use. The pillow is maybe two or 3 inches thick, and my neck is crooked down to even make contact with the pillow when on my side. If you're a back sleeper this pillow is probably great, it feels good to the touch, the gel is super awesome - it the mattress get half as good as the pillow I'd be happy. If the pillow were 2x thicker I would love it! Overall, pretty unhappy, will be returning this and ordering from another company.
