The bed was comfortable for maybe the first week or two, or maybe my previous mattress was just so bad I wanted this one to be amazing. It's meh. I wish I had taken advantage of the 100 day trial, but I think we wanted to believe that eventually we would sleep better. We also purchased 2 pillows, which have given me neck problems and triggered migraines, and one of which has completely busted just from normal use. It's never been placed in a washing machine or endured any stress other than changing the pillow case. We're not even done paying off the bed and already the stuff is falling apart. Wish I had tried another brand.

I decided it was time for a new mattress when I was waking up sore. I decided to give purple a try, what did I have to lose with their 100 night guarantee? Well, I can't rave enough about how comfortable my Purple 3 is. This mattress totally relieves all pressure points and sleeps cool! I often used to wake up drenched in sweat with my old mattress, but so far, in the couple of months that I've been having my Purple, this has not happened once!

We bought a cali-king bed a few months back, after years of lower-back pain and discomfort. To be candid and honest, the Purple mattress did take some time to get used to - especially for my wife. But once we became accustomed to the very unique feel of the top-layer, we have found the support to be unmatched. Shoulders and hips sink down without backs and necks being pulled out of alignment. The depth of sleep and quality of rest that we're getting every night is definitely much better than with our old mattress (which was a very high-quality, name-brand spring-mattress). We're very happy with the Purple bed, and miss it every time we sleep at a hotel. I also purchased a lower-back cushion for my work chair, which is wonderful. It adapts perfectly to the shape of my back, and gives excellent support through long hours of work. It could be a little bit larger for my preference, but it is excellent for what it is.

In all seriousness, while the color did catch my eye, it was the amazingly thorough job they did explaining the varied reasons and purposes behind every innovation they made to the mattress. These thoughtful improvements, when brought together, make a mattress well worth the comfort.

Had my Purple for a several weeks so far, honestly I am getting a better night's sleep. Don't think I will ever settle for an average mattress ever again. Now I seriously recommend this if you can obtain one. It's definitely worth every bit of it. What have you got to lose. If you don't like it just return it. But I think anyone will be amazed with owning this great investment.

Thank you guys for being innovators in the mattress space. The price can not be beat for the quality you receive. In addition, the humor in your marketing and training materials gave us a good laugh and took took some of the pressure out of lifting a 111-pound log onto a box spring ;) We have had sore backs every now and then waking up, yet we've only had our Purple for about 2 weeks; we're chalking it up to our bodies readjusting to such a well-calibrated mattress. We were so used to contorting ourselves to find the right spot a dying, worn out mattress! Looking forward to the nights to come, we do sleep very soundly on our new bed. My wife and I pretty much purchased an all Purple set mattress, pillows, sheets, and powerbase. Let me just say our purchase was one of the best decisions we've ever made. I have sleep and back problems that have been a burden on my sleep for years. Since we've had purple I sleep better with no aches and pains. I'm very hot natured and used to have to sleep with no sheets , with the Purple mattress and sheets I stay cool and bundled up all night. The pillow is awkwardly weighted and yes the mattress slides a little when using the powerbase, but I wouldn't consider those problems. The pillows perfectly supports your head and neck no matter how you sleep. The powerbase makes reading a book or watching TV in bed more enjoyable and convenient. Plus the vibration is just right and zero-g is pretty cool. I would recommend Purple to everyone, I can't stop telling people how amazing Purple is!

My old mattress was starting to show signs of it's age and has been relegated to guest bed duty. After an adjustment period, I found I have much less back discomfort and sleep cool on this mattress. My girlfriend now hates her own mattress and claims this helps with my snoring. I will say her first night on this is the only time I've ever seen her sleep in..... The isolated motion transfer so we don't wake each other to let the dog out or use the bathroom is great, as is the silent material for "fun time". I wish the mattress were cheaper, but I'm very happy with my purchase and it's been a great investment so far.

It took me 30 days, not the recommended 21, to break in this mattress and fall in love with it (I am tall and thin, so fewer pounds per square inch, and it felt too firm the whole first month). Give it time. I ended up purchasing the softest mattress I could find in a store to replace my original Purple mattress, but I was glad that the Purple one wasn't picked up yet since I didn't realize how wonderful it was until I had a chance to compare. Now I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep on anything other than a Purple mattress! It is true that all pressure points are eliminated on this mattress, even your toes!

I had watched hundreds of reviews, and read even more articles describing Purple's mattress design. As soon as I laid down on the mattress for the first time, my lumbar began to stretch and relieve my back pain. I wake up feeling less sore and ready to actually leave my bed! I couldn't be happier with any mattress purchase.
