My wife and I went from a Sealy pillow top with a 3" foam topper to the purple mattress. It was our "about to be parents" present to ourselves. Wow! It was so worth it! We are both side sleepers, but we have found that on the purple mattress that we are just as comfortable on our backs as our sides. The quality of sleep is so much better and our fitbits prove it. I have a purple pillow as well and we are using jersey knit sheets. The bed sleeps so much cooler. We are perfectly warm, but never sweat. Also, the aches and pains we used to have from time to time are completely gone. No cricks in our necks or back or hip pain. I'm 5'10" 165lbs and my wife pre and post pregnancy is 5'8" 145lbs. We're both athletes in good health. (If that helps anyone... I noticed others posted this info when I was researching. )

I love my purple mattress, I have had two back surgeries in the past two years and could never get comfortable on a conventional mattress. I don't wake myself up in the night just trying to roll from side to side. I would definitely buy this mattress again.

After having 5 back surgeries, I found a mattress that I am able to Sleep more then 4 hours on. I wake up in the morning an just roll To the left and I am on my way. Thanks Purple. I just received my pillows today, can't wait to sleep on them tonight.

the first thing i noticed was the give and support of my body now understand i weigh 325 lbs and it fit like a glove and it did not matter if i was on my side or my back. then i felt the cooling sensation all night, i woke up feeling cool. the other thing i noticed is my pillow in the morning was not flat and that was because of the give of the Purple. I also did not wake up multiple times during the night. What an awesome product, i cannot wait for my wife to get up to get her reaction. I do not regret the purchase. Worth every penny, from our purchase my daughter and husband are ordering there Purple also.... It sells itself.....

I was hesitant when my son told me about the purple bed and said he would like one. We had been shopping for a new mattress for him and wanted something that would help with his back pain. The 100 day return policy is what finally made my decision to give it a try. He loves his purple bed and hasn't had back pain since just after he began sleeping on it. I'm very happy that I took the chance and would recommend the Purple bed. It's ligament.

We have been on the mattress for a couple of months, now. I am 8 months pregnant and am so grateful to have the comfort of this mattress. I knew it was supportive but feel the biggest difference when my kids have bad dreams, etc., and I end up sleeping on their mattress for just an hour or so. My girlfriend and I were very excited to order our new Purple mattress but we were skeptical because this has been our third new mattress in the last six years. We both have back issues and our previous mattresses caused us a lot of back pain and misery. We researched the Purple mattress and were hopeful that the reviews we read were accurate. After receiving the mattress two weeks ago we have been very happy with the results so far. Both of us used to toss and turn all night and woke up feeling like hadn't slept a wink. We both seem to be sleeping more throughout the night and are mostly pain free. Thank you for a great product! We would recommend this mattress to everyone.

If you are looking for a bed with a pillowtop feel, this is not it. If you are looking for a bed that is amazing on your back, this is what you should get. I've looked into the other brands, Casper, leesa, tuft and needle, helix, etc. But none of them or the people really talk about why the bed is better. What makes that memory foam different than the other? Idk and I don't think they do either. So that's why Purple stood out to me. I've heard a lot from my friends about their memory foam beds and how hot they get. My husband gets hot, and I get cold. That wouldbe horrible for us. Hence also why I was looking for another kind of bed. Purple became that bed. The gel top design was fascibating to me. It doesn't get hot but is firm enough to cradle your body. I recently had hurt my back and got diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back due to a slip disk I had a couple years back. Let me repeat it is not a pillowtop, it doesn't feel like a cloud. But it holds and supports you in an the right places. It does not put any strain on any bit of my back and lets me wake up refreshed and pain free. My husband loves it as well because he doesn't get hot anymore. And the moment our dogs laid down.. They have gotten more than comfortable and stay in bed whenever they have access. Highly recommend it.

I feel less achy and more well rested in the mornings than I have in a very long time. I've had beds that were comfortable - but I would still not feel well rested even after 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Now I have a bed that is comfortable, and actually helps me sleep better. My body isn't achy in the mornings like it used to be, and I don't feel as tired when I wake up.

Greetings, I've had the mattress for just over two weeks and a week of that I've been on the road, I'll be traveling for work again next week as well. Any evaluation from me at this point is premature. However there are items i've noted that are a plus so far. Motion transfer between my partner and myself are undetectable by either of us. Firmness while on my back is good, very comfortable so far. However, while on my side the top layer seems just a bit too shallow, in other words not quit enough to remove pressure from my shoulder joint. This comes prior to giving the mattress a good thirty night adjustment trial period per "Purples" recommendation. It seems at this rather early stage in evaluation that a three inch purple option for some shoulder pain sufferers might be very good, but without trial it would be hard to say. Ask me again when I've had more time to fairly evaluate and balance pros/cons. And determine if this is going to be my most cost effective, best performance/$ option. So far I am pleased with the mattress overall. Thank you for asking for my input.
