After returning a box mattress of another brand due to it being too firm, we decided to give Purple a go. Due to a head injury/surgery, I have only been sleeping on my right side for the last year. This mattress is so ideal for side sleepers and I couldn't be happier with it. It's somehow firm and soft all at the same time. I thought the grid would have a more distinct feeling, but I don't notice it much, yet the stability of it just seems better than traditional memory foam. Also, my chiropractor has made less adjustments to my back, and I think it truly is because my back is staying better aligned.

I have had my bed for about 3 months and absolutely love it. Started out with tshirt sheet but went back to Purple and bought the purple sheets. Those are awesome. I also bought the mattress protector and I am a bit disappointed in it. It did a great job of protecting mattress when I spilled my drink , however I washed according to directions and am very disappointed that it came out with a small burn mark. I suggest complete air dry n this product. I informed the company but they just said some dryers are hotter than others. But the Bed is absolutely the best I would give it a 10 plus.

My husband and I were having a lot of body aches and we knew it was because of our old mattress. I was looking for mattresses that would fit our budget and our needs. I was actually going to get a memory foam type mattress, but the have reputation for being hot and loosing shape overtime. I stumbled upon reviews of purple and was quite interested. After much discussion with my husband, we purchased the original type. My hips stopped hurting as much as they used to, my back feels much better. My husband falls asleep much faster and for all night (unless I wake him up). What took is by surprise was, we didn't realize how hot our last bed was! This mattress allows your whole body to breathe. I don't wake up in the middle of the night because heat and my husband doesn't sweat while sleeping! We got it with the mattress protector and let me tell you, it's worth it! It doesn't have a plastic feel. Its stretchable and it definitely protects. Also paired with the purple blankets. Amazing bes! I can't wait until I'm able to purchase their pillow! I need new pillows.

I had a decent bed, but it wore out. So, I tried the Leesa. It didn't work out. Next, I tried the Loom & Leaf, that was actually worse than the Leesa. The Purple; first time in longer than I can remember I woke up and got out of bed with no pain. It is, by far, the very best mattress I have ever slept on. Better than any hotel, better than a waterbed even. So, if you are searching for the right mattress, stop. Get the Purple. Oh, and the bamboo sheets? So very, very nice!!!

We researched long and hard to replace our Tempurpedic mattress, and finally decided on two twin Purple mattresses as we each needed our own bed. There is no waiting to sleep on these, they expand quickly. The mattress is a little "bouncy" when you sit on it, reminds of the older spring beds but just a little, and I liked this. The first night went well for both of us, but we still weren't sure, because sometimes it's hard to tell if a mattress is good for you in the beginning. My husband slept cold, and while I was cooler but not cold, it's the first time I had not sweated at night in a very long time. Quite a relief and wonderful for me. I did place fleece sheets under the bottom sheets for added warmth, and we both slept perfectly. As seniors it gets harder and harder to get yourself out of bed when you are sleeping in an slumped down mattress and trying to claw your way out of the foam surrounding you and sit up. The Purple Grid is not like that at all. Hard to explain except it moves with you, creating comfortable places for those pressure points that are needed to align the places that you need, feels comfortable and cozy where needed yet is easy to get turned, and easy to get up out of bed. You can sit on the side of the bed as well and not slide off. Then to our pleasant surprise, aches and pains started going away within a couple of days! No more hurting at night. So this is something people might be able to relate too. On foam beds when you want to lay on your back and put yours knees up, yet you can't because your feet will just slide down no matter what you do You can do this on the Purple Mattress! Your feet will go where you put them and stay, in comfort as well. We love our Purple mattresses! When they wear out we will purchase again. I don't care what those higher priced foam mattress companies say, a mattress does not last 20 years, at least not a comfortable 20 years. So buy a mattress from a company who is telling you the truth on how long to expect that mattress to last, most are 10 years. What sold me in the beginning was the trial period which made us feel very comfortable about ordering the Purple Mattress, but now what has sold us is how comfortable we are sleeping.

So far so good, shipping was ok, everything shipped separately but can't really blame them especially because of this whole covid-19 thing but everything got here when they said it would. As for the set up of the bed super easy and sturdy. The frame looks amazing and the whole mattress inflating was fun to watch. The mattress itself is a little firmer then I thought but man was it comfortable. I feel it will take a bit to get use too because it definitely doesn't feel like other mattresses but I'm looking forward to sleeping in it more.

I have scoliosis and have always had back pain so I attributed that pain to that disease. I would wake up sweaty and not well rested. Since sleeping on the Purple Mattress, I haven't had back pain throughout the entire day, I wake up cool, dry, and well rested! This has made my life so much easier, I love the Purple Mattress!

We bought the original purple mattress after tons of research. I am a large framed, 240 pound side sleeper. Dear wife is a diminutive, Omni directional sleeper. This mattress is perfect for both in terms of sleeping. It's cool, easy on my joints and supportive for her. The one problem is that there is no way to turn off the hidden magnets that seem to hold us in the bed on weekends. There should be some way to turn this off so that I could get up in the morning. Prior mattresses did this simply, by being too hot or uncomfortable, resulting in my getting up. In the original purple, I seem to be held tightly to the mattress unable to find an aching joint or thermal anomaly that would cause me to get up. I believe that there are rare earth bio-magnets embedded in the mattress that are holding us in place. Please provide a way to deactivate this on weekends. Thank you for your kind attention.

I suffer from severe back pain due to an injury from a car accident. I used to dread going to bed because no matter what mattress I slept on I tossed and turned all night with back pain. My last mattress was so bad that I was waking up every two hours in pain. I was exhausted all the time and finally ended up sleeping on an air mattress which while not much better than my mattress it did give me a little bit more rest, but I was still in a lot of pain. I started researching mattresses and decided to give the purple a try. My first night on the purple was great, I felt like my body was being supported while I slept for the first time. My back pain eased and I slept through the night for the first time in years. Now I look forward to going to bed and my back always feels better when I wake up. It has been 90 days and I can't imagine sleeping on any other mattress. You can't go wrong with this mattress, it is unlike anything else you have ever tried. You won't be disappointed.

We do like our purple mattresses. We bought a king 3 and a full original from Matrress Firm. We like the purple pillows too. it is definitely a different sleeping experience. we felt these mattresses would be best to prevent more allergens since they are not all stuffing or foam throughout. the only thing we didn't like is the purple mattress covers are crappy. they are way too plasticy and noisy. we googled and found much higher rated mattress covers that have cotton or fabric on the top and plastic on the underside. 100% waterproof below but you're not sleeping on noisy plastic on top. something to keep in mind when purchasing.
