My wife's never been happy with any bed but we're not returning this one so it must be a pretty good bed. I noticed it's sometimes warmer than a traditional coil mattress but we have A/C so I just set the temp for 68 degrees and we sleep well now. I've talked to Purple customer service regarding shipping of our bed, pillows, and seat pad and they were OUTSTANDING people to work with!

I recently purchased a Twin XL Purple mattress, after several years on a Select Comfort, and a standard coil mattress. I have a history of back problems. After sleeping on my Purple for about 3 weeks, I have noticed a reduction in stiffness and pain after getting up in the morning. I am sleeping longer in between waking up in the night, and I feel more rested. I love my new Purple mattress.

As soon as my husband and I got this unpacked and I tried it out I knew I was going to LOVE it. The first couple nights my back was a bit sore but after about a week the pain ceased and I started falling in love. I will say it does take some getting used to, I tend to move around a lot at night turning from side to side and at first it was kind of hard to lift my body up to actually turn over compared to my old hard mattress but now that I'm used to it I really love it and tend not to toss and turn so much. It has a refreshing cool feel to it too so you stay warm but you dont get too hot. I was concered that purchasing this on the Internet without trying it wasn't the best choice but I'm glad I did. I love the bed and would recommend it! You can't go wrong, if it's not for you, you're able to send it back for a refund!

I am a HOT sleeper. Every mattress I have ever had creates a hot spot, so I would move around a lot. The Purple mattress is much cooler - it can still get "warm", but I am sleeping better. We did end up purchasing the PURPLE Platform base which is very stable and fairly high off the ground, so great for storage. I think I can say - I love this bed. I move very infrequently now, so I would imagine that means I am getting better sleep. I am so glad to finally have a found a great bed!

We got the new 3 and for a month or more did t like it- got up with sore spots as I'm a side sleeper. So easily exchanged it and I am so satisfied with my 4. Love my sheets and pillow too! Had to tighten my platform up due to a squeak but truly after a sleep number and a tempepedic- I highly recommend this bed!!

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it got delivered to the wrong building. I live in a large apartment community. The mattress is far too large to put in my little car. So, I had to get a friend & carry the 100+ pound mattress a quarter of a mile from the building it was left at to my actual apartment. The correct address was on the shipping label so I'm not sure what went wrong. I know this isn't the purple mattress company's fault, but for the price & weight of the mattress it would have been nice to have it delivered to my home. Otherwise, I love the mattress & sleep very well on it.

When we first got it, I was a little concerned. My wife and I are both pretty good-sized people and I didn't think this mattress would be able to take it. The first couple of nights were definitely an adjustment period, but now I realize that was because our backs were so messed up with our other mattress. We have been sleeping on the Purple bed for about two months now and we love it! We had to stay at a hotel for a couple of nights recently and we both said the same thing: "This sure ain't our Purple bed." Thanks Purple for giving us a great night's sleep again!

Stopped, by the cute ad on the internet where they're squashing eggs. Impressed, by independent online tests between Purple and Casper. Intrigued, by the 100 night trial. I want to say we were convinced after 1 night, but that sounds melodramatic, but... we were convinced after one night.

Every time I get in my new bed I just smile. I can't say anything because my wife said I finely did something right. LOL! The mattress is CRAZY! I have only one complaint. Making the choice between the original Purple or Purple 2, 3 or 4 was was a brain buster. And the price of the new Purple 2,3, and 4 is a wallet buster for us hard working folk. But it's hard to put a price on "Pain Relief".

Purple was to make sure the sheets are stretchy. We got stretchy I cannot stress the importance of buying the RIGHT sheets for this bed. STRETCHY sheets are necessary to get the comfort and benefits of this bed. We both had lower back pain after three weeks, looked online at FAQs, and one of the responses from sheets. We noticed an immediate difference in how the mattress felt, and now are having zero issues and loving our Purple! :-D
