To be honest I was extremely skeptical about the purple mattress. You hear every day why a bed is the best and most comfortable, what makes purple any different, I figured the purple grid was just a gimmick. Boy was I wrong. For years I would wake up stiff with back and neck pains. I would just chalk it up to getting older. It has only been 3 weeks and a few days since I got the purple mattress but what a world of difference, I wake up refreshed and ready to go without any pains. I highly recommend Purple and I will definitely be buying it again when the time comes. FYI I purchased the original purple

Super comfy and not hot. We tried Casper but it was too hot. We will eventually replace all our mattresses in our home with Purple as we can afford it. The mattress is really heavy and there are not handles to move it but I still love it in spite of that :)

I can't complain in any real way about the mattress or the experience with Purple. We just prefer a softer/more plush mattress and Purple didn't work for us. But everything about our purchase was top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people try them.

I was excited to buy the purple mattress after reading the online buzz and watching the neat videos behind the technology. The technology is what hooked me. The first few nights I slept on the mattress it felt extra firm to me, but from the moment I first laid down on it until now I can feel the support that Purple has been talking about. I'm giving the mattress four stars right now more because I believe my body is not used to the mattress. It's feeling better and better as time goes on. Each night is getting better and better. I think I'll be able to move the rating up a star within the next couple of weeks! Thanks Purple. Oh my aches and pains have gone away too due to my old spring mattress.

I bought this months ago and thought it was great but after being on vacation for the past 10 days in a hotel I am blown away. I have shoulder and neck problems which haven't ached since I bought this mattress. But after sleeping on a hotel mattress my neck and shoulder ached my entire vacation along with a new mid back pain that started thanks to the hotel room mattress.(5 star hotel mattress) Now that I am back and have slept just one night on my Purple I am blown away at how well I slept and the pains I had for the past 10 days are completely gone. It truly is the best! As a night shift nurse who has sleeping issues nothing beats a good resetful actually feel refreshed when I wake up sleep! I am contemplating buying them for my guest bedrooms now too!

My husband and I have owned a Tempurpedic (two different models), and a sleep number bed. I hated them both. Ever since I started having kids I have had pain in my lower back. I slept with a lumbar pillow at the base of my spine just under my hips, just to try and ease the tension. We bought the Purple king-size mattress in June 2016, while I was visiting my family in Alpine, UT (where the Purple factory is). At that time I had been going to physical therapy for my back pain for a couple of months. After a few nights of sleep on our new Purple, I noticed the back pain beginning to subside. Since my back was feeling better, I stopped going to physical therapy. It is now October 2016, four months after purchase, and I have had no lower back pain. I no longer have to sleep with an annoying pillow under my hips. After a few weeks of sleeping on the Purple, my husband decided to sleep on our old Tempurpedic (which has been moved to the guest room), just to see if he could tell a difference. He has always been happy with the Tempurpedic and the sleep number beds, but after that one night on the Tempurpedic, he felt a huge difference in his quality of sleep. He said that the Tempurpedic was like sleeping on a cement slab. My 10-year-old son (who has arthritis) wishes he could have one, but they don't make a normal Twin-size mattress. He tells everyone about his parents' Purple mattress, even encouraging visitors to try out our bed. He even sleeps with the Purple seat pillows we own, and takes them to church with him to sit on. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my purple mattress.

We shopped for a "mattress in a box" for a few weeks and decided to give Purple a try due to it's awesome advertising campaign, specifically the egg test. When we got the mattress installed, we were immediately satisfied with our choice. It really isn't like any other mattress on the market, definitely worth a try. When you lay on it you sink right in. An unexpected added bonus... it keeps people from jumping on the bed since their are no springs to bounce.

I bought a Purple 2 a couple of months ago and it just didn't work. My wife kept on getting hip pains. We went on vacation and she had no issues with standard hotel mattresses so it was the Purple2. So it is going back. However the return policy is great.

The Purple isn't as revolutionary and life changing as people claim, but it is pretty comfy and overall seems to be a good mattress. It's definitely been helping a little with my back pain, but I haven't slept on it long enough to fully judge it in that matter. Docking a star because the mattress was just left outside my house without a doorbell ring or knock of any kind. Normally that's not an issue for a package delivery, but this was a LOT of money just sitting outside my house waiting to be stolen so I am a bit touchy about it.

We bought our first Purple mattress seven years ago and have love it . We recently decided to replace and purchase another. We did go with a hybrid model and were not happy. Custom service was amazing with helping switch back to the original Purple style. It was easy and we are so happy with it. We will always use Purple over any other mattress.
