This is a very comfortable and supportive mattress! I have fibromyalgia and suffer from sensitive skin & pressure points. My partner has issues with his back, and we've had issues finding a mattress that would suit both of us. I'm very happy to say that the Purple Mattress works for us! It's firm enough for him, yet malleable enough that it doesn't put unnecessary pressure on my body. We're excited to get many years of use out of it!

It's a great mattress, no doubt about that. However, I think it's easy for somebody that's going from a 10-year-old foam mattress to this to think that it's the best thing in the world. Wouldn't a brand new foam mattress also feel amazing? Definitely. The difference, however, is the material and support. All the claims they make is true. The mattress sleeps cooler, the feeling of full-body support is a great thing to get used to, and it really is like sleeping on a giant gel shoe insert. If you've never tried one of those things, that reference won't make any sense. I'm quite pleased though. It's good!

I had cervical spine surgery at 25 years old. I have since had consistent trouble finding support for both my back and neck. Prior to Purple, I had a firm pillowtop California king sized mattress. It was a nice mattress; however, I increasingly noticed I would wake up fatigued and completely run down before the early afternoon. I'm not kidding when I say I noticed a vast difference in my energy levels within the FIRST WEEK. My sleep has much more quality now. When looking at the pros and cons of Purple vs my old mattress- the only thing I miss is the five seconds of "ahhhh" when laying on a pillow top. I DO NOT miss for a second what that did to my body. I plan to get a seat for my office chair and can't wait to see if Purple develops other products in the future.

After 30 minutes on the phone with an employee fumbling to answer all my questions with something I hadn't read on the website itself and a phone call back immediately upon hanging up explaining that the employee was new and had told me incorrect information regarding purchasing as well availability to where I lived.. the process was.. interesting to say the least. 1. 110% recommend this bed to anyone who unsure about their purchase. 2. Everynight I feel it graduially earns it's value more than I believe it already had. 3. Although the customer service wasn't what I was expecting, the product spoke for itself regardless. Our Purple mattress is a game-changer for comfort-I've never slept so soundly! Its unique design offers perfect support and cushioning, making our nights more restful than they ever were on our old mattress. Nothing beats waking up refreshed and ache-free. Love Purple, their products (we have their sheets, too!), and their customer support team is top tier. Highly recommend!

I've had it but a week and while it was quite a workout to get it upstairs by myself, once in place it is heavenly. I find I sleep more soundly, move less and do not fell my partner moving about either. I got just the mattress and put it on my existing platform. I don't see the need for "stretchy" sheets. Thank you for making this fantastic bed.

keeps me cool., the sheets are great (glad to have gotten them for free!). I wish the gel-matrix top of the mattress was just a bit deeper, but still very great. The warranty is somewhat nuanced. I took pictures to demonstrate that I handled their mattress correctly. I wish they made it easier to demonstrate compliance.

I had really high hopes for this mattress, and it ultimately lived up to it. It took awhile to "break" the mattress in. I was not used to a firm mattress so I was really worried at first when I kept tossing and turning the first few weeks. But I wanted to give it time and see if it got better. I read somewhere that the Purple mattress could be "broke" in by walking on it (basically trying to break in the foam base), and I did that for a few days and it really seemed to work! We have had the mattress for over a month now and I really do love it. It supports where you need support and gives where you need it to give. The purple mattress it definitely worth giving it a try!

I've had a solid seven months to try the Purple bedding system. This may be somewhat lengthy but it's the truth & may help others while making a purchasing decision. First off, I made the purchase because I needed more support for my lower back & hip injuries than what my old mattress was affording. I was in the Army & deployed a lot so these injuries are both old & degenerative. Secondly, I hurt all the time & my sleep isn't great anyway but add the constant pain & no support and, well, not a recipe for a good night's sleep. Lastly, being in peri-menopause for the last 11 years on top of all of that is just the perfect finishing touch (insert eye roll). The night sweats trapped body heat into my old mattress so I was roasting every night. I did my research for several weeks & even chatted online with a Purple representative about which sleep system would work best for me. (She assured me the original mattress would provide plenty of back/hip support & would pull heat away from my body during a hot flash.) The price was excellent & along with the twin XL mattress, I got the foundation & a set of free sheets (thanks & I LoVe these). I actually got everything but the sheets on my birthday & I set it up immediately. I couldn't wait to see if this thing was as good as advertised & I desperately needed some good, restful sleep. The first night was amazing! Truly nothing short of a dream!!!! I slept so well & with less waking events than I had had in a very long time. I also woke up less sore the next morning so I was sold. I felt completely satisfied with the purchase I made, or so I thought. The next nights & weeks went by with no issue. Then one morning I woke up incredibly sore like I'd slept on my old pillow top again. Odd, right? I hadn't re-injured myself or anything so this was definitely bizarre. Then week by week, I lost all the support the sleep system previously supplied. My body heat was also no longer pulling away from me; rather it was just staying directly beneath me in the mattress. None of the issues I have have been helped beyond that first few months & it's very frustrating. I'm still making payments & it wasn't the right product for me. And while I'm past the trial period & cannot return it, this sleep system has really failed me. I basically have a much smaller and more expensive version of my old bed. I'm actively searching for a twin XL mattress (not a Purple) that is some kind of hybrid that'll do what I need it to.

Used to wake up with extremely tight and painful shoulders, and stretching it out would only help so much. Started sleeping on the purple bed and didn't notice any real change in my shoulders until two or so weeks later. Hardly have any issues staying asleep, and I don't wake up wishing for relief anymore.
