I did not want to believe the hype that has been surrounding this mattress and brand for all this time, but I finally pulled the trigger and invested in one. I was nervous it was not going to improve my sleep, but it did immediately. I will say it took my body maybe a full week to adjust to it, but now I have no trouble sleeping. I even have the purple pillow! Invest in your health by investing in your sleep!!! I now trust all things Purple!

I purchased this mattress for my son who transitioning from a crib. I wasn't expecting too much from an online mattress buy but, WOW! I try to sleep in his bed with him when I can! When it's time to replace my king sized mattress, I'll get another Purple.

We bought the purple mattress because my husband has back and hip pain. He sleeps much better; he loves it. I like it better than the pillow top inner spring we were sleeping on, but not as much as my soft side waterbed. But, for together time, the purple is a good product. We will be moving soon and hope to buy a king size bed. If we do, we will be buying a purple mattress to go on it.

My husband and I bought a king purple mattress about 1.5 years ago. He likes a soft mattress, I like a firmer mattress... and we BOTH love the purple mattress! In fact, we love it so much that we just recently bought a twin one. Our daughter is transitioning from a toddler bed to a "big girl" bed and we could think of no better mattress than PURPLE!

I am in chronic pain and have difficulty sleeping, always tossing and turning due to discomfort or pain....that is until we bought our purple. My sides don't go numb from pressure, my spine doesn't feel like it's about to break when i lay on my back. I could go on and on but I suggest you try it out yourselves, and if you don't like it then they'll take it right back. No pressure, it's purple :) also on a side note...I loved the add with goldilocks.

I gave this fit a 2 star rating because although it was the exact opposite experience of what I was expecting, I have a feeling that I know people who would enjoy sleeping on such a hard unyielding mattress. The amount of the patented purple material was so low in relation to the need for it, or something to give this bed a little give, that I woke up every day that I slept on it in pain. The foam underneath the mattress is so unyielding that I am quite sure that I could hurt somebody if I hit them with a piece of it. This is absolutely the worst band I've ever slept on. I would only recommend this to someone who sleeps on their back and need significant levels of support. Even my husband, who slept on a pretty crappy mattress before we got married, doesn't get good rest on this bed.

I've tried to describe the way it feels to other people and the best I can do is that it really is firm, yet soft. All my curvier areas are cradled by the mattress, while the rest of my body is supported. I can sleep on my stomach, back, both sides, and it feels great. I'm also looking forward to the summer, because I can tell already this mattress stays cool. I think its that weird purple rubber matterial and grid design that keeps air flow moving and temps down. P.S. I bought the plateform base and it's bomb too, sleek design, avg height to the ground, and a ton of storage space underneath!

You'd think that being only 24, I would have a bad back and tired shoulders, but I'm already creaking and groaning like an old man. I had the same mattress for 19 years and then moved in with my girlfriend, who had had hers for 11. He back and hips hurt from her old mattress, and it didn't exactly help my back. I only wake up sore if I sleep in my shoulder in a wonky position. It has relieved so much energy, it breathes really well, but I still need the blankets off because I like being cold. My back doesn't get sweaty while I sleep like my old memory foam add-ons did with my old bed. You can feel the two layers of firmness (soft top, firm underneath), and we both think that's why it helps our backs so much. Additionally, getting in/out of bed doesn't move the whole mattress, it's nice for sneaking out in the middle of the night for a snack. I am beyond glad we ordered a Purple mattress.

Greetings, Since I have Crohn's disease (butt-hurt stuff) I can't get more weight easily so my weight is usually around 90 to 110lbs. So I wanted to know if I'll benefit from your product? Or will it be too firm? Also I'm a tall-skinny guy which makes my posture always a little bent. Thanks.
