My wife and I have slept on the new mattress for 5 nights and our low backs are still hurting when we wake up in the morning. We were so hopeful that the mattress would work out but it looks like it is not going to work for us. We had to pay over $300 to ship it to Kauai. It is going to be a big hassle to try to get our money back because we are going to have to rent a truck to haul it somewhere to donate it and then we still will not get the $300 shipping refunded. Very disappointed.

This mattress is incredible. I have never slept better in my entire life. My husband has a lot of back pain and was previously in need of several minutes to get moving in the morning. He gets right out of bed and isn't in pain since we made the switch to this mattress.

Minus one star because one of the selling points is that it is supposed to keep your body cool while you sleep. My other low grade mattress never made me sweat, but with my Purple I wake up with my back moist seemingly every night. I can say it is me, but I have not had this happen with any other mattresses in the past year (hotels and friends houses). Sorry, Purple. Other then that it IS a great mattress. Very comfortable and relaxing.

I'm 5'10" and 190lbs and I sleep on my side. I've been sleeping on the bed for right at 30 days and i can not get my lower back and hip to stop hurting. Im not saying my back and hip are hurting because of the purple bed im just saying it isn't getting any better. I personally dont think I sink down enough for a side sleeper. When Im on my side i feel like im laying on a small beam and I could rock either way. If i were sinking into the memory foam I think i would feel more stable and sleep better. I think purple is a great company but their bed is just not for me.

I bought the standard Purple, which is amazing. I sleep so much cooler and very comfortably. I also bought the Harmony pillow=awesome. However, my biggest issue is that the mattress is not easy to move. If the Hulk had a mattress it would be a Purple. You know, smash everything just getting the thing across a room. My last mattress had handles on the sides making adjustments and moves less strenuous. Lastly, I'm still unsure about the mattress protector I bought. I'm all about protecting my things, but it does sound a bit like a sleeping bag when put on. Overall, I'm very happy with Purple and just like the commercials, I do have my friends lay on the mattress when they come over.

I am a diehard Tempupedic Cloud lover. However, my husband despised it and we needed to upgrade to a king. We poured over reviews of online mattresses, watched video reviews, and talked to friends. We settled on Purple and I am very happy we did. The first two nights, I missed my Tempurpedic and was sure we'd be sending it back during the trial period. It was too firm for me and a bit too bouncy. Then, as other reviewers have described, my body adapted and it has become a bed I look forward to crawling into. Even more exciting is the fact that my husband has never been so happy with a purchase. We loved it so much, we convinced my mom to buy one and now she's in love with it too. We also purchased the platform - which is high quality and very stable, the mattress pad - which is essential as it is flexible and protective, and the sheets. All of the extras are the same price at department stores, but not nearly of the high quality the purple products are. Finally, I had a few minor issues with my order and then my mom's and the company was responsive, personable and VERY accommodating. The whole experience with this company and the products has been great!

I've had my king size purple mattress for almost a month and so far am not loving it. It feels too flimsy/squishy. Once I am laying down in position so my weight is distributed, it is nice and appropriately supportive, but when I first sit down on it, it feels like I'm sinking all the way to the bed frame for a moment - and I'm 130 lbs! There also is no reinforcement/support around the edges, so when I sit near the edge of the bed to put my shoes on, I feel like I'm sliding off. Also, I use this mattress on a platform bed with slats as Purple recommends, and since it's a king there is a center support rail and slats on each side - and I can absolutely feel a "hump" down the center since the mattress itself has NO structure. I have a feeling I won't be keeping this mattress, but do appreciate what seems to be a generous return policy.

I will be honest but I was kinda worried about on how the purple cushion part would hold but or get worn out fast....but it didn't this bed is so great love it I will probably never switch back to another bed brand again I been referring a lot of people to this bed....don't second guess yourself it is the best bed you will not regret it!

I've been not sleeping well for a while and really needed a new mattress. I looked around at all the current options. Your video and several testimonials online sold me on Purple and I was very excited to try it out. In short, it's just too firm for us. It doesn't have any give and we feel a lot of pressure on our shoulders and hips. My wife couldn't sleep at all so she went and got a 3" gel-foam pad to go on top. That seems to be doing okay right now. I know we had a 100 night guarantee, but I don't really want to mess with returning it and finding something else. We'll see how it goes for a few more weeks.

I'd been sleeping on an ancient, hand-me-down mattress for years until I decided enough was enough. This mattress improved my sleep patterns when I didn't think they were all that bad. I'm now sleeping 6-7 hours without interruption and waking before my alarm rested and ready to start my day. Best money I've ever spent!
