I love our Purple Mattress! I sleep soundly and wake up without soreness. As a side-sleeper, that wasn't the norm before, but my shoulders and neck don't hurt in the morning. I don't find myself waking up to switch positions in the night anymore, either! Would definitely recommend!

It's a great bed if your body can handle a firm bed. It definitely absorbs movement very well thus far. I had to get a memory foam topper for my side of the bed bc my back can not tolerate a firm bed. But my husband does. Overall a good mattress. I love their pillows. The sheets I didn't care for. Too stretchy.

I really wanted to love this mattress. My husband and I saw an ad for Purple in a magazine and I ordered it the very next day. When it arrived, we couldn't wait to get it on the bed. After the first night, I woke up with an extremely sore back and my husband noted his arms fell asleep and were tingling all night from not being able to sink into the mattress at all. I gave it a try for 10+ more nights and same thing. I dreaded going to sleep and wanted the mattress gone. I gave it 3 stars because their customer service was good. They were very responsive on the online chat as well as by email and promptly scheduled a pick up for the mattress and communicated about a refund. Overall, I really wish this product worked out for me but at least I was able to get my money back and try it out.

We are both generally side sleepers. My wife is about 125 lbs and I'm about 185. We just found the mattress to hard. Both of us woke up with more back pain than we had experience on our previous mattress which was a 20 year old hand-me-down Serta. It was really disappointing because we were so many good things about Purple. We liked the ads and wanted to like the mattress. But ultimately we just weren't comfortable and had more aches and pains every morning. We slept on the mattress for about 40 nights before deciding to send it back. Ordering was easy and the return process has been pretty painless so far. The customer service person that took my call didn't try to upsell me or talk me out of the return. It was very nice to not have to convince anyone that we really weren't happy. Thanks for that. We haven't completed the return process yet, but expect to donate the mattress next week and send the form back to purple for a refund. We are overall happy with the pillows that we ordered with the mattress and will be keeping those. Thanks,

I haven't been able to sleep on my back comfortably in a few years. Now with this mattress I can finally sleep on my back again without discomfort and I stay asleep longer. I dreamed about getting a purple for years and even tried one out in a showroom once. I'm so glad we finally upgraded and I am NOT disappointed.

My wife and I bought the Purple mattress 2 weeks ago today. We were really excited to try it out. Thought this would be our mattress for the next 10+ years! Well, nights 1 and 2 definitely were adjustment nights, as both of us didn't sleep great (understandable as we were going from a mattress we'd been sleeping on for probably 15 years to a totally different mattress). Nights 3-5 my wife and I were both surprised at how our backs and hips didn't hurt when we got up in the morning! We were really excited now! Well, starting about night 6 or 7, I started waking up during the night with lower back pains and my hips were starting to ache at night again. My wife also starting saying her hip pain was returning. Very strange. Unfortunately, since we can't return the mattress until we've given it 21 days test-trail I guess I'll just spend the next 6 nights continuing to sleep in my recliner, and taking the NSAID my doctor prescribed me.

Might be one of the worst mattresses I've ever slept on. I'm a side sleeper with shoulder pain so when I saw the commercials with the egg drop test I thought this was mattress I've been looking for. Nope. Way too firm, and way too stingy on the patented purple gel layer, especially for the hefty price tag on their most basic model. It's a shame too because I've been saving up for this mattress for years. Hopefully the return process is better than my sleep has been these last few weeks.

I was on a horrible mattress for two years. I would wake up in pain. I was sleeping on the floor for a month before I decided to get the purple mattress. When it arrived I worried that it would not work for me. After the first night I was still in pain, the second night was a little better. I have had this mattress for a month now and I am very happy. There is no more pain.

Have only had the mattress five days, and slept on it for four nights, but it is amazing! My back, and hip pain are gone. Should have bought one of these years ago. I am 6'7" and 292 lbs. and the Queen original Purple mattress supports me very well. Thanks Purple

My husband and I took a chance and ordered a king sized purple mattress with the bed frame. It came very quickly and was easy to set up except for the fact that the mattress is incredibly heavy. The bed is very comfortable and the frame sturdy. We get great sleep! I am a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper.
