This mattress is nothing short of amazing. For years I suffered with chronic lower back pain and sciatica . I saw back pain specialists, chiropractors and physical therapists. Nothing helped. Turns out, my pillow top mattress was the culprit. I'm so glad I bought my Purple. Never looking back!

My wife and I were becoming increasing dissatisfied with our mattress and after looking into one of those overpriced air-mattresses we decided it was time to try something new. After having a traditional pillow-top spring model and then a more modern memory foam style, this new mattress from Purple is refreshingly different and really quite comfortable. It was a bit more expensive than what I would normally pay but we have no regrets and are getting much more restful sleep now that I have found the perfect pillow to go with the new bed.

I have owned a lot of mattresses and this one is by far the best, it does take about a week to get use to and your back may hurt a little at first. As of right now I've had mind for about a month and I love it, my kid loves it, and even my dog loves sleeping on my bed now. I was very cautious about making this purchase as 1k for a queen is somewhat steep but I do feel that I've made a great investment.

I really wanted this mattress to work. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me. I'm a side sleeper who's 6'3" tall, 185lbs. The first few nights left me with a sore lower back, but I expected that since my body was adjusting to a new mattress. What I didn't like, and what I couldn't live with, was sore shoulders every morning. I stuck it out for a little over 60 days, hoping that things would change, but in the end I gave up. The support when laying on my back was great, but on my side the pressure on my shoulders was too much. I even used the Purple Sheets to make sure I got the full benefit of the top grid. Still, my shoulders felt like I'd had a massive workout every morning. I will say, the customer service department is EXCELLENT! The return process was completely painless. My refund was processed within a couple of days after I provided my donation receipt.

Not crazy about it. Cost is high I was excited when I read all the reviews I don't really feel like this bed is any different from the others. Leaning on returning the mattress since it's not really growing on me. And my mattress came with a black spot

I would like to give a more detailed review, and a higher rating, but my sample size is small. I think I've only had it for 2 weeks. But I can say that it was quite refreshing to sleep on a bed that didn't have a significant body impression in it and as a result, the back pain I was experiencing has diminished. I wake up feeling rested.i did toss and turn the first couple nights as I adjusted to the foreign feel of a new bed. My only complaint, and it's not really a mattress issue, it's that since the angle of my body has changed during sleeping, I've had to overhaul my pillow arrangemt. I had a pretty good kink in my neck for a few days til I sorted it out. But all in all, I'm pleased. I will say the buying experience was haste free and painless and everyone I spoke to was quite nice and not pushy at all.

We have the Purple mattress, mattress protector, sheets, pillows, power-base and a seat cushion. The mattress is phenomenal and we love the stretchy sheets. In addition to getting the most comfortable sleep we've ever had, Purple was able to help us with several warranty claims and provided equal or better replacements. One of the warrantied items had already been discontinued, so Purple swapped it out for a newer model of the item at no additional cost If there is one negative at all, it's the Purple pillows - they aren't as good as I had hoped they would be. They don't offer the same feel as a cooling memory foam pillow. But, knowing the folks at Purple, I'm sure they'll come up with something better soon! Our overall experience was exceptional! It's rare to find companies that really stand behind their warranties and really go above & beyond to meet a customer's needs/issues. We will certainly be recommending Purple to others even MORE than before. Thanks for such a positive experience Purple!

The first time I laid down on my new Purple my back cracked instantly... that feeling of relief after the chiropractor gets ahold of you after a long day at work! The other thing I noticed... I'm going much deeper into sleep than ever before because I can remember my dreams when I wake up (remembering your dreams indicates you're in the deepest part of REM). ~David

I'll admit, I was super hesitant to purchase a bed online. I went to one mattress store, with less confidence in buying anything there when laying on a few beds for a couple of minutes. Not to mention, I felt very awkward laying there with people looking at me. I've had long term history of severe hip/back/neck/shoulder pain (sports injuries & accident). My husband recently had a bad spell with his lower back (dirt bike riding enthusiast). I spent a few weeks researching several companies. I chose The Purple Mattress based on reviews alone via YouTube. I purchased the purple mattress, pillow, mattress protector, and received the sheets for free as the special. The mattress was delivered first, and everything else a few days later. Delivery timing was good though, much better than I anticipated, based on reviews (no issues for me)! The mattress was good from the start, a little firm feeling, so I thought, but I really do think my body needed to get used to the difference of how I was SUPPOSED to be laying! I noticed I needed a different pillow, since I didn't have the purple pillow yet. My head felt much lower with a semi-cheap pillow I've had way too long. I wake up feeling more refreshed! We don't ever wake each other up by moving around in the night. That might be one of my favorite parts. I kept my husband from a good night's sleep before with our old mattress. Every time I tossed or turned, he would wake up. I moved A LOT! My husband's back issues were gone within a few days (mostly back sleeper + side some)! Since my issues are more severe, I still have some pain in my shoulders, but nothing like the pain I felt sleeping on our previous mattress (side sleeper)! It really does get better and better! I almost can't wait to crawl into bed at night! That said, the purple pillow is what probably made our minds up 100% on keeping everything. Once the pillow arrived, we both thought, no way, this is way too flat, not going to work! I noticed a difference the first night sleeping how much nicer the bed felt with my head placed at the right height! My old crappy pillows would be full in the beginning of the night and within an hour I would wake up to adjust! This never goes flat and it's not too flat like we both were thinking! It's perfect! It makes my head feel like it's floating in a good way. Now having it a month I am not sure how I slept with anything different. Reviews had me prepared for a strong odor and they were correct. I'd say there is a hint of odor even after a month. I really could care less though. I'll never have another pillow other than The Purple Pillow. Worth every penny. I can even tell the air flow is awesome! One night I had my hair damp from showering before bed and I woke up chilled on my scalp from air circulating well! I'm not complaining! That means less of me waking up to turn my pillow over to have a cool side! The mattress protector is so soft and stretchy for a protector. I guess that's the most I've noticed about it since it's so new. I haven't spilled anything on it yet to know if it works properly or not. The slate sheets are so soft and unbelievably stretchy. Everything is perfect for us and we couldn't be more happy with our purchase! We are forever Purple customers!

bought a bedframe and Queen mattress. loved the mattress the first night but my boyfriend did not. it took his back about 3 weeks to get used to it. I expected this bed to feel soft and cradle me but instead its actually the firmest bed ive ever had, in a good way. the mattress gives where you need it, so your body feels in complete contact with the mattress while still being firm. i never thought id ever love a firm mattress. purple gets it right. I could go into more personal detail but this review is already too long. the bedframe was taller than i expected even though i received measurements which are accurate. the bedframe fits perfectly with the mattress slightly over the frame so that you dont feel cold hard metal on your thighs sliding off the bed in the morning (im short) which was one of my worries. im not exactly impressed with how both peices of bedframe connected by two silly screws which one of them came bent, but the bed is very stable and honestly i love it regardless.
