I'm a veteran with disability for my back and for depression. My back and hip pain made it difficult to fall asleep, and that and my depression made it nearly impossible for me to stay asleep. Since I started sleeping on my Purple, I have fallen asleep and stayed asleep better than any time in my life, even before i had my problems. I read a couple of reviews complaining that the mattress was too cold. However, we were without our furnace for nearly a week this winter. The house's internal temperature, by the end of that time, was just below 40 degrees F. On the last night I was a little chilly in bed, but I warmed up by curling into a fetal position, and then slept like a baby. I LOVE this mattress! I just came back and bought a seat cushion too. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is with the sheets. I made the bed with the Purple sheets and spent most of the first night picking my pillow up off the floor at the head of the bed and the blankets off the floor to the side of the bed. After that I have used the Purple fitted sheets but have swapped out the top sheet and pillowcase. Thank you for the best sleep of my life!

We bought the king size purple mattress while I was pregnant with our sixth child and it has made all the difference. We both sleep much better. I wake up less frequently, and when I do wake up my joints, back, and especially hips, no longer scream in pain. We recently had our sixth child and are still loving our purple mattress. So it helps us sleep no matter our body type.

I am an all over the place sleeper who constantly turns in her sleep. This bed is perfect for every position I end up in! I was sleeping on a terrible piece-of-foam matresse and it was killing my back so I decided to make the investment in a quality matresse. My father had purchased a Purple a while back so I figured I'd give it a shot. Now I'm going around telling anyone who will listen how great this matresse is. This matresse is so incredible I'm realizing just how terrible my cheap pillows are. I would recommend this matresse to anyone reading this review because you'll never have a better night's sleep.

Our initial reaction to Purple was wondering why their shipper dumped the mattress in our driveway. We came home on a rainy night and almost ran over the large tube! Next, we found that even with two of us trying to lift the king sized mattress, it was too heavy. Had to go borrow a moving cart. Set-up was easy but getting the plastic of the mattress was a bit of a challenge. Finally, the mattress seems comfortable but I have been waking up with a sore back. Apparently, I am one of the few people who does better on a hard surface. There is a warranty, but honestly, we cannot imagine how we would package and ship this monster back.

I have woken up feeling refreshed every single day since I purchased this mattress. My back pain has disappeared due to the support provided in the hip region (I constantly struggled with sciatic nerve pain). Sometimes I don't even use a pillow because the mattress supports from head to toe.

I look forward to going to bed! Yes. I realized one day, just a few days into having the mattress just how much I was looking forward to bed. That is when I realized how much a LOVE this mattress and how absolutely comfortable, supportive and restorative it is. My husband, the got to see it to believe it guy, has become a true believer as well and loves the mattress too. Falls asleep quickly and easily, though was a constant struggle on the old mattress. I cannot say enough in support of the mattress and how great my husband and I feel everyday. Did I mention we feel younger? The decision to make the change was easy, we spend 1/3 of our daily life sleeping, it is worth making it the best good night and restorative sleep possible. Thank you purple scientists.

Considered buying this two months ago. Came to this website once added it to my mental list of beds to look into more. Now for the last two months EVERY SINGLE AD on YouTube I get is a Purple mattress ad. For two months those have been my ads. The same 3 Purple mattress ads. I actually feel like I'm going crazy, I don't want to turn YouTube on. I have disliked the ads, I have reported as not interested and it still doesn't stop. Purple leave me alone, I have zero interest in any of your mattresses now!

I have spinal stenosis and a herniated disck in my lower back. Heard someone say that this mattress is the best for back pain so i said why not. It's gotta work. Overall since I have had it..my back pain is minimal and feels like it's going away. I couldn't ask fo a better mattress! Thanks purple!

I was worried the mattress was not going to be as good as the hype, but it definitely is. I am a side sleeper and even on the first night I slept through the night no problem. Sometimes I find myself on my back and I don't have any issues with my back in the morning like I used to. It is a great mattress, i would buy again.

Lots of reviews online and videos from the purple website made me eager to try out the best sleep of my life bed. After saving up the money, we ordered an original queen. Alongside this and during the same purchase order we bought one purple pillow. This was all we intended to buy. The website offered a free blanket with the bed purchase as well as $100 off the bed itself. The offer appeared suggesting we order a platform base and in bold letters stated "KEEP YOUR WARRANTY". This led me to conclude the frame was a required purchase of both the 100 night trial and any future warranty concerns that should arise if we ended up keeping our bed. So I placed it on our order. The bed came first, and we left it in the bag for about 5 days while we waited for the platform base to arrive. Eventually, we opened the bed eager to try it out and knowing our 100 nights were ticking away waiting for the platform to arrive. The rest of the items- pillow, blanket, and platform base- came on the same day I believe. I think within two weeks of the bed arriving. Since we already had the bed set up, we left the platform base in the box untouched and slept with the mattress on our hardwood floor. For a couple of weeks sleep was seeming to improve but I discovered the purple pillow was simply not for me, not to mention the rotten egg smell mixed with a chemical scent. Our pillow was returned hassle free. I appreciated that. We were refunded our purchase price and return shipping was paid by the company. Over the next few weeks my sleep seemed to start off being deeper and more sound and solid. However, this was only the case for a short while, up to 2 weeks. From that point on and truly since we began our 100 nights both myself and my husband have had multiple unusual bouts of back pain, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, extreme trouble getting comfortable in any position whatsoever, pain that begins the moment I lay in the bed, and obviously not much sleep anymore. Also, the zero motion transfer is simply not true. Even from the first night we could feel when either of us shifted in bed. That's even with using separate blankets. Now, we have made the decision to return ALL purple products and continue bed shopping. My husband was told the platform base could not be returned. We called and the issue was resolved in the understanding that it had never been removed from the box. We were granted a refund. Except there is one issue regarding this- we were told the cost of return shipping would be OUR responsibility on the 44lb platform base. The estimated cost is about $70 for this. Considering the cost of the frame and the refund for it, we are certainly out a small sum on return shipping for a product we were under the impression was a required purchase in order to keep the mattress under warranty. I am not satisfied with this resolution. The platform base is useless to us without the bed, and it was never made known in my checkout process with the suggestion to purchase the frame to keep the warranty that it would not qualify for a return or that in the event of it being returned the shipping cost would fall upon me, the customer. Overall, I am highly unsatisfied, sleep deprived, and in near constant pain since purchasing our purple mattress. I tried it longer than the suggested adjustment period and the pain is only getting worse each night to the point I am no longer able to sleep on the bed and am needing to take pain relievers daily. I am happy to have our return process for this mattress underway and will be glad to see it go. Purple, you just aren't for me.
