I am primarily a side sleeper. I've been suffering from back/rib pain for years, sometimes so bad that it would wake me up in the morning and I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. I tried different memory foam mattresses, putting pillows under my side, etc, and nothing worked. I finally couldn't take it anymore and decided to try the purple, and now my pain is gone! I was somewhat skeptical when ordering but it really works. My boyfriend is a back sleeper and also wakes up with frequent back pain. Now he loves coming over to sleep on the purple because it helps alleviate his pain as well. The service was great. Wonderful experience overall.

I actually can share two reviews, my own and my Fiancè. At first, we both loved the bed. I am a back/side sleeper, my woman is a side sleeper. For me, its still the best bed I have ever slept on. I am a bigger guy, with a bad back. This bed helped my back pain A TON. I sleep great on it, and it is just awesome. She doesn't like it as much anymore, but its more her than the bed. She has been having some hip issues lately, and this bed is painful for her to sleep on her side. We have a king tempurpedic at her house, and she has the same problem with that one, but it has an adjustable base which makes it easier for her to be comfortable. I have been considering getting the hybrid premier with more grid for her, but we have not decided for sure yet what we are going to do. Anyways, I would give it 5/5 for sure. 4/5 because of her hip pain.

We were skeptical of the "purple grid" technology but found its very soft and responsive. It seems to contour well to the body and let's the heaviest points be supported by the denser foam layers. Only a week in but we're pleased so far. Also, it came roll the "wrong way"... when we unrolled the bed we had to flip it over before cutting it open. A minor issue but it's not easy flipping a shrink wrapped king bed.

I have had sleeping problems for years due to back and hip pain. I would get 2-3 hours a sleep and then have to get up, with extreme pain and legs giving out. With this mattress I have been able to sleep solid for 6-8 hours straight with no pain when I get up and my legs are not giving out. I was scared to spend so much money but I am really glad I did. I am able to function better with actual sleep and not waking up in pain.

We really loved the mattress and I can say it's really great for relieving pressure points like heels. But we already have body grooves in it after a year which is sort of a bummer and makes me worry how long it will actually last. Probably will look elsewhere in the next purchase.

This was everything we promised. I am recovering from back surgery and my wife was pregnant at the time we purchased. We got twin xl and both have loved it. Past our 100 days and its still just as nice as when we bought it. I only wish they offered there sheets in another color than purple. Cause there sheets are awesome when it comes to temperature control

Their web site says: "Recycling Purple. The Purple® Bed and its packaging is recyclable!. If we're unable to find a charity in your area, we'll work to find someone to pick it up from you to recycle it or make sure it finds a good home." Not true. We bought a Purple mattress for our daughter in Maine. The mattress itself is great. I'd give it five stars. But it comes wrapped in A LOT of plastic. My daughter contacted Purple for recycling instructions per the web site (quoted above), was told to contact their shippers and the shippers said "no we don't recycle their packaging." So I'd give one star for lack of commitment to sustainable packaging and the most negative review possible for not telling the truth about the recyclability of their products. Purple, you don't deserve to claim environmental cred and then not deliver on it. Please tell the full truth about whether your packaging is recyclable. Hopefully you'll find a way to keep your packaging out of landfills and ultimately the ocean.

I was really excited to try out this mattress, and I really like it. It feels great for all sleeping positions, never had any pain or discomfort, and it's quite a different experience than what I had. But. I expected a bit more with all the commercials and all. All in all, I really like this mattress and I would recommend it to everyone. Just don't expect it to be a cloud.

I've wanted this mattress ever since I saw the Goldilocks ad about 2 years ago, I was finally able to pull the trigger and I was not disappointed at all, better than I could have ever imagined! I truly feel like I have more energy throughout the day due to getting a proper nights sleep finally! Thank you so much purple!!

I am so so so happy to have my Purple mattress!! With my previous mattress, I would wake up with so much back pain and was just overall so achy! With the Purple, I have ZERO pain!! I was starting to think that wasn't a possibility... The reason I say "So good, it's bad!" is because my husband has always been an early riser. Even if he was very tired, he could not sleep in past 9am. With this mattress, he is sleeping in until noon!! lol. We are very rested these days. Although the mattress was out of our price range, we steadily saved for what felt like forever until we were able to get it. And it was absolutely worth it!!!!! My ONLY complaint is that it is unbelievably heavy! Not that I'm going to be carrying it around or moving anytime soon. But boy, is it heavy! But I wouldn't choose a different mattress. Wonderful! Love it! Thank you, Purple!!!!
