With some reviews saying they needed a few nights to adjust to the feel of the bed, and the material, we wondered how our first night would go. Absolutely no problems! My husband has had 3 shoulder surgeries, and has slept with a pillow between his arms to keep his shoulders open for years. On this bed, from the first night, he needs no pillows. The pressure on his shoulders, as he's a side sleeper, cause him no pain. The bed truly does support without discomfort. Not too firm as some reviews said. Its perfect for us!

We took a chance on the mattress and have been very pleased with it. I give it 5 stars for comfort and firmness/softness. I like a pillow top mattress to fit the curves, unfortunately pillow tops eventually get worn down where you sleep. This mattress is comfortable and fits your curves without a bulky pillow top, so my mattress isn't princess and the pea high and yet it is comfortable. We have really tested how long you can lay on this mattress without back pain, and it is amazing. My husband and I both got very sick with a cold, and were in bed for several days, and no back pain! My only sadness is you need stretchy sheets, and I will have to buy some, but that's a small price to pay for this kind of comfort.

I'm not sure how well I like it yet. It's definitely better than my old mattress but I still have trouble sleeping and have soreness. My husband seems to like it but he never has trouble sleeping like I do. He's a back sleeper while I'm a side and stomach sleeper.

Any time I see something that's got too much hype built up around it I run the other way. This bed has floored me though. It's like sleeping on a cloud. I have several disc injuries and had a good memory foam bed before but this bed provides a sort of hugging support I can't explain. If you're a stomach sleeper you know the pinch in your back you get if you don't put a pillow under your hips. Without the pillow this bed is perfect. It you didn't think it would be worth it, try it.

Really confortable, soft, and cool. This mattress satisfies both me and my spouse sleeping needs to the fullest. This mattress is definitely amazing to say the last, I sleep in many different positions and am a very light wleeper, with this mattress I'm able to sleep anyway comfortably and no longer wake up with my extremities tingling and numb, my old mattress was so terrible that I had to flip it over and sleep directly on the springs with no padding at all before I decided enough was enough. My only wish was that you guys made couches too because I would buy one in an instant, although not sure I would be able to stay awake to watch my favorite shows with that kind of comfort. Would recommend to anyone!

I have had my mattress for 26 days so far and for 26 days I have slept beautifully. I have no more lower back pain when I get up in the morning and no hip pain from just sitting up in bed. I sleep so comfortably and soundly and that means a lot. I have raved about this mattress to family and friends and tell them that there is nothing to lose because of the excellent warranty and the 100 day return policy. Seriously, I would give a 10 star rating if I could.

What I ordered: The New Purple Mattress - Queen / Purple.3 When: Oct. 2018 Age group: 20-30 (I add this due to how this mattress makes me feel older than I am.) Weight Class: 150-200 lbs ***Disclaimer: I do not know how much the mattress has changed since 2018 with the newer models, but I still have a bias due to this one and personally would not recommend.*** I have owned a Purple Mattress since October of 2018, and when I first slept on it it was strange, but in a good way. However, after almost two years the Purple mattress has actually become worse to sleep on. Which is a first for me, I have never owned a mattress that got worse to sleep on the longer you own it. When I ordered my mattress I knew a few people who also owned Purple, and said they loved it, so my husband and I bought the newest model at the time with a medium hardness level of 3 since I knew I liked harder mattresses but my husband preferred softer ones. Thought the compromise would be fine, but didn't even know how the mattress would feel anyway. I wanted to get a purple since the commercials were very good at selling it, and saw that it was good for your back from multiple claims and articles or something along those lines. I've had a bad back for a while and decided that if so many people were praising it it should be worth 2k$. At this point I would like to say, I strongly disagree with those statements and many others who claim it with the mattress I have. - Good for your back: No. I have a bad back due to my work, and preferred being a back sleeper since it reduced the twist on my spine. At first the mattress was pretty good with my back. My back wouldn't be that sore like it was from my previous mattress. At this point now, unfortunately, the mattress hurts my back every morning. It is sore every time I wake up and I feel less and less comfortable sleeping or lying on my back. I currently am a side sleeper on the bed, but even then my back is very uncomfortable. - Keeps you cool: Yes and strongly no. This bed is great at being cool when you first get into bed, so much so that I actually shiver because of how cool it is. Great for the summer when it is like that for the first few hours. But after a while the material in the bed becomes VERY GOOD at retaining your body heat. The mattress becomes uncomfortable for me and my husband because it just retains so much of our body heat. We even sleep with our own comforters to reduce any shared body heat, but that doesn't help much. When I was a back sleeper I would wake up every night with my back feeling very hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable. Those are the big two, but I would like to add other things I don't like about my model. 1. It is a big and bulky bed that is very difficult to move compared to a traditional bed. It is also heavy because of the material. Due to this it is hard to change the sheets on it because it flops and moves with little structure. Sometimes we have to two man changing the sheets so it's easier to put the new sheets on. To be fair we don't use a box spring for the bed, but the bed is pretty tall. When we moved we had to get a dolly and buy tie down ropes, making the mattress into a hot dog with help of friends, to keep it from slipping and sliding everywhere due to there being no grip to move like a traditional bed. 2. Our model can't really be flipped. I know there are some articles out there that say something about flipping this bed and how often. This bed is not a great flipping bed. It is too big and bulky like the previous statement states. Maybe if you had a mattress small than a Queen that would work. 3. At this time, the bed has gotten progressively uncomfortable. There were times I thought that the mattress just needed time to adjust. Well almost two years later and it does not need to adjust. The squishy grid is not that novel to sleep on anymore. It feels like it has gotten stiffer and ridged, and that I should be comprised of less polygons to enjoy it. I feel the squares all the time when I lie down, and it makes me wonder what I thought sleeping on multiple tiny squares was actually going to do for me. The squares even get at my hips and knees too. There are times where I would wake up and my legs will feel achy and my hips will be sore. This bed doesn't solve the comfort level of tossing and turning, it just changes the formula of why you toss and turn. Overall, just get another normal bed. This company has great commercials, their sales pitch is on point, but the bed is not as revolutionary as you would hope. I spent roughly over 2,000$ and at this point I am pretty sad that I did. I am not getting rid of it because I need my money's worth out of this bed with all the discomfort that I get out of it. If I had to do it again I would have gone with another company or gone to a mattress store and actually laid down on their mattresses since you never know with how it will turn out if you buy online.

I order my purple matress and throw out my old one the day before i was suppose to recieve my order. All to then find out that my shipment would be delayed another half week which left me sleepy on my living room couch. Then day of arrival comes and im forced to stay at home from 2-6 and the order gets to me late even with the four hour window. ( i know this is probally not your guys fault but it should be talked about) I Have my mattress now and thats all that matter to me. It feels great and has everything that's advertised i hope to give a follow up review with a five star rating soon.

I bought the mattress for my son. He said he likes it. If you're on the lighter size then the mattress will feel firmer. He doesn't mind that it feels firmer said it helps his back. He got the pillow for free. It had a smell at first but after a few weeks it went away. The mattress had no smell at all.
