The products are great, but customer care leaves much to be desired. Different pieces of my order were delivered with a delay between 2 to 4 weeks instead of anounced 2-4 days. When asked to change delivery address because of the delay nothing happened. All items were delivered to old address which resulted in 3 separate 30-mile rides. Nit convenient at least.

I really love the mattress. Comfortable, has a cooling feeling and just the right amount of support. I wish the delivery process was leas frustrating. Apparently I didnt read the fine print when it said that expedited shipping was only for sheets. I was okay with that response since I might have missed it. My issue was calling customer service to get a status update. I was told several different dates and finally it showed up on a random day, which I had been informed I would be receiving an email stating the delivery time when it would be known. This is an issue for someone who lives in an apartment and doesnt want an expensive purchase just sitting out all day and night since inwas out of town when it was delivered. Had I been provided those updates as indicated, I would have ensured it was picked up by someone I trust and brought into my apartment. That really jaded my whole purple experience since I am lucky I was still there after that time. Never any updates sent, even in spam box. They knew my email address for this review which I received just fine in my inbox.

After a few nights of sleeping on it, I became accustomed to the feel of the mattress and it's fantastic. It does seem to cradle the body in the best way, providing a great amount of support and comfort. I have the 2" mattress, I weight about 190, and it's great for me. Best mattress that I've ever slept on, not to mention the luxurious sheets and pillow cases. In conjunction with daily stretching, the mattress has considerably helped to alleviate my back/sciatica/shoulder pain. Highly recommend! P.S. I am a combination back/side sleeper.

My wife purchased a king Purple 7/25/2017, we were both very excited. It was great at first, then slowly became worse and worse for my back. Weird ache through my whole back after about an hour of sleeping, after sleeping on it for just over a year. My back is fine the moment I stand up in the morning. I don't like returning things or being wasteful, and my back didn't really start to hurt until after 100 days, so now I just feel stuck with it. Many other mattresses give 365 day trial which tells me the others are more confident in their product. For me this mattress was a waste of money.

Does not conform to body as expected. Also very firm and don't like that you can feel the purple squares all the time. Very disappointed overall and also upset I have to wait 21 days before I can even return it so just stuck not sleeping well in the meantime.

Mattress Pros: 1. Firm - I prefer firmer beds and weigh ~115lbs so the purple feels great! My former Tuft & Needle mattress gave me back pains, but I don't get that with the Purple. 2. Cooling - The bed is cooling, and I definitely don't sweat at night anymore. However, my roommate who also has the same mattress still sweats at night. 3. Bouncy/shock absorbing - the mattress's gel layer gives it a nice bounce which mimics a spring mattress. I also don't really feel it when my significant other moves around in bed because the gel seems to absorb the shock. Mattress Cons: - Too cool? - Because the mattress has a gel layer on top, it takes a while for the bed to warm up - Texture - The gel grid takes some getting use to. The mattress doesn't feel smooth when you run your hand across it. You can feel little bumps and divots from the gel's grid structure Purple Cons: - They don't offer a full size version of the mattress - They don't request for a direct signature for your mattress, so if the mattress doesn't get delivered or gets stolen, Purple makes you file a police report before you can have a replacement sent to you. - When I had emailed them because my delivery was missing, they emailed me back and asked me to file a police report with no further explanation as to why. That seemed extreme to me, so I called them the next day and the representative was nice enough to call FedEx for me to see what was going on. After a bit of back and forth, the Purple customer rep asked me to contact FedEx directly. And at no fault of Purple, I had a very frustrating experience with FedEx and gave up on them after a 50min phone call. I then called Purple back and they seemed to have given up on FedEx as well and the customer rep asked me to file a police report because filing a claim with FedEx could've taken weeks and Purple won't provide me with a replacement until they have proof of a misdelivery or that it was stolen. This whole process was very frustrating and took several weeks. Their customer service was fairly kind, but definitely subpar compared to Tuft & Needles'.

Got the purple 3 first night got no sleep but I wasn't used to the mattress but over the course of a week I got used to it and have been getting more rest for less sleeping time. I am actually getting restful sleep and I went from memory foam where I would constantly be tired to this and I wake up feeling like a million bucks!!!

We had a Sealy iComfort gel bed and I woke up every single morning feeling like I was beaten up, in pain and struggling to make it through the day. I dreaded sleeping in that bed and slept on the couch instead. Friends of our recommended The Purple bed and after a week of sleeping on it I really enjoy going to bed again and waking up pain free. It is truly amazing how great this bed can make you feel. It was a pleasure to write the review. This bed is the greatest!!!!!!!

Since I started sleeping on my Purple mattress my usual morning joint and back pain has significantly been reduced. The cooling effect has allowed me to sleep under my duvet without experiencing my typical middle of the night overheating and discomfort. I recently slept on a new "high end" hybrid memory foam mattress from another brand and it couldn't even compare to my experience so far with Purple. Do yourself a long overdue favor and switch to Purple.

I love the purple. I would stay the night at my friends just to sleep on one. When it finally came to purchasing a mattress, I was deciding between the nectar and purple. Finally decided the price different was worth it and bought myself a purple queen. I love it!
