I've had the purple mattress now going on two years and i have to say that it has been one of my favorite purchases I have ever made. Not just because it is a comfortable mattress, but because of the ease of ordering, receiving and setting up. I despise going to the mattress store and laying on a thousand mattresses until i find that one that feels right but when i take it home it feels terrible. I wanted a reasonably priced foam mattress and this fits both bills. At first it feels soft, but i can assure you this has a firm feel but it will really depend on your weight. Heavier individuals will feel the firmness because you will take advantage of the foam, while my wife who is significantly lighter than myself says it feels soft, which is what she likes. Lighter people tend to float on the mattress giving it that airy feel. I personally like a firmer feel which is what i get. Now my review is over the overall experience which was positive which includes a reasonable price for a foam mattress that i have never felt or seen and willing to take the chance that it is good. Because Purple saves money from having storefronts and sales employees, I expect that savings to be passed on in a reasonably priced mattress. I highly recommend you try it and I believe you will also have a positive overall experience and save some money. This prices are reasonable enough for me to change out my mattresses more often.

I haven't slept in it much since I'm gone all the time for work but my girlfriend has done nothing but rave about it, she's in it every night. When I do sleep in it the mattress is much better then the hotel mattresses I am typically in. The only complaint is that there are no handles on the mattress so that when it comes time to move it I speculate it will be fairly difficult.

My husband bought this mattress like everyone else, sight unseen. We've been sleeping on it for at least 2 years. He absolutely loves it. I hate it. It's way too firm. The purple pillows help, but I dream of the day when I can sleep on a Tempurpedic.

We bought the queen size mattress with the sheets and pillows. We contemplated just buying the mattress, don't do it!! Buy it all, the sheets are the most amazing thing, the pillows were weird at first. The first night we slept on the bed we slept horribly but by night 2 we were hooked. We love it.

Everything is as it was described. So far we've been sleeping on the bed for about 3 weeks now and I have nothing bad to say about this bed. -Amazing bed -Super confortable -No more sweating in bed -No more back pains -No more waking up your partner when getting out of bed.

It is very comfortable but 2 inches makes a difference in a chair. I already have my desk chair at lowest setting and the cushion makes me sit just high enough for it to be aggravating. The center of the cushion feels awesome but the edges begin to feel uncomfortable after a while. Too tall. Wish I would have gone with a smaller one. Wanted to swap, thought I had 100 days but that was not for cushions :(

I have a lot of back lower problems and the first 30-ish days went well and my lower back problems lessened but as a side-sleeper, the bed has now caused shoulder issues which has in turn started mid-back pain , sciatic pain and made the lower back problems significantly worse. I cannot spend another night on the bed. I so wanted this bed to work...very disappointed.

I love the bed it is crazy comfortable, the only down side was I had to carry the thing by myself up to my second floor and when you are unrolling it you have to flip it over which is also kind of difficult by ones self. But once I had it set up I absolutely love sleeping on that mattress.

No more stiffness or back pain! I switched from a Tempur-pedic and found almost immediate relief with the Purple mattress. I was shocked that a mattress could be so soft and comfortable - yet firm enough to support my back and prevent back pain. Highly recommend.
