I've spent more than $3,000 on mattresses all to experience discomfort in my hips, my back, and my neck. I'd struggled at work to keep pace. My fiance suffers from severe RA, and she couldn't sleep on any of them. Not only did I take a major loss on expensive brand named mattresses, it also impacted our relationship as well. There wasn't enough room on the couch for both of us. So, I made one last investment, the Purple Mattress. It's been two nights now, and it's the been the best two nights of pain free sleep I've had in years. My fiance no longer sleeps on the couch either. If I must say, and honestly speaking, the Purple Mattress has improved not only my sleep, but also got my fiance off the couch, and vastly improved my energy levels at work. So, buying the Purple Mattress was the best investment I've made this year. About the Purple Sheets... no expensive thread count name brand set could even compare. No more bunching up sheets driving me crazy all night, or the feeling of sleeping on denim waking us up. I'm in love with my purple mattress, and my purple sheets. Now, if only the great scientists of the Purple Mattress could create some insoles or shoe inserts, for my fiance's tired aching feet from standing 12 hours a day at work, my life would be made. I've been using the original purple mattress king size, for just over a month now. As a stomach sleeper, I often had sore backs & stiff necks with my previous bamboo foam mattress. I have none of those issues with the purple mattress. I'm a 5'9 male that weighs 160, and I found that the softness of the mattress is perfect. It leans slightly more towards the firmer side in my opinion, but is still plenty soft & provides the perfect amount of comfort & support in all the right places no matter what your sleeping style. Motion transfer is good, better than most mattresses, but you'll still feel some movement if your partner moves enough. Also, if you're a hot sleeper like me, this mattress does a great job of keeping you cool enough at night & regulating your temperature. You don't need a box spring for this mattress. Any bed frame with wooden or metal slats that are fairly close together (3-4 inches) will hold & support the mattress perfectly. Overall, this is a very good quality mattress for a reasonable price. I enjoy this mattress more than some of the $2500+ Tempur-Pedic mattresses that I've tried.

I decided to try this mattress because memory foam was no longer comfortable for me. This mattress is the perfect blend of soft and supportive, I also have the pillow. It's great for hot sleepers, it's so cool and just as comfortable on my side and on my stomach. Love this mattress

From the start I knew I would love this bed. I loved the ad campaign, the idea, the fact that it's US made -- and I just had a really good feeling about it over all. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed at all! My wife and I have been sleeping on this mattress for the past six months and every night is a blessing. We travel a lot and the old mattress was awful so we always looked forward to hotel beds; now it's the opposite! Hotel beds ain't got nothin' on my Purple mattress. It's soft, but not too soft, with just the right amount of give, and one of us moving around on one side provides barely any disturbance, if any, to someone on the other side. Our first night on this mattress cemented my wife's and my status as staunch Purple fans, we even bought their seat cushions recently and loved them as well. I really cannot say enough good things about this mattress! The price point is high but you're not going to find any amazing, long lasting mattresses for much less than that and if you're dropping the big money anyway you might as well buy something engineered by a rocket scientist!

This mattress is incredibly comfortable. It seems to keep my neck and back perfectly aligned, so I never wake up with headaches or a stiff neck like I had with my old mattress. One of our favorite things about the mattress is that each side is totally independent of the other. If one of us gets up, the other has no idea. You feel absolutely zero movement on the other side of the bed. This mattress is significantly less expensive than our previous one, and so much more comfortable! We will definitely be buying Purple mattresses from now on!

I had managed to save some money up and decided to splurge on a nice mattress due to beginning to have sleep issues the past several years. I no longer wake up sore due to a certain position that I slept in for too long! I've definitely noticed an improvement in my sleep quality and am so thankful that I decided to give this a try. The only downside I can think of is how HEAVY it is. Thankfully I won't be moving any time soon, but I can definitely see it being a pain point in the future once the time comes. All around very happy with my decision after a month of use!

This is the second Purple mattress that my wife and I have bought. The first one is more of the purple material as opposed to this one that has more memory foam on top. Our first mattress is absolutely amazing, it's nice and cool and feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. This one you can tell there's memory foam and it doesn't cool you off nearly as much as the older one; I don't wake up feeling as refreshed with this one as I do with the older mattress. That is why I give this a 3.

I watched every commercial and every YouTube review I could find. And I fell in love with all the purple products in fact I got them all the sheets the protector and the platform and of course the mattress. The sheets are the only thing that has given me problems, they started to pill and get little fuzz balls where my legs rest at night. I contacted support and sent pictures before and after wash as they asked and when they saw the pilling was still there, they instantly sent me a replacement, I am very great because the sheets feel like heaven!! The protector doesn't even feel like it is there... if I had to list a con is it makes the sheet wrinkled.. but that is easily remedied. The platform is quiet and very easy to put together and I love the height, I don't have to climb into bed and it isn't low to the ground at lot. It is a little heavy, it is build to a great standard! So far the mattress is fantastic, I love not having a boxspring I got my mattress about 3 weeks going and I having no problems with, first nights I was very hot, but after the first two nights that went away, I have also noticed my posture is better. And while sitting in the bed my legs don't fall asleep, like they did in my old bed. I love the bed a lot, it is so could now and it fits me!! I am hoping to preorder the purple pillow next month!

The mattress was very easy to set up. It's heavy but with someone to help it isn't too difficult. It's super cozy to lay on. Using the traditional descriptions of firm/medium/plush doesn't really apply to this mattress. It's very supportive but doesn't feel like sleeping on a rock. I don't feel the uncomfortable push back that a traditional mattress has. Compared to a memory foam mattress you don't sink into a hole that you have to crawl out of. It's very easy to get off the purple bed unlike a memory foam mattress. I'm a heavy person and there isn't the midsection sag like every other mattress I have ever tried. My entire body makes good supportive contact with the purple mattress. I am very pleased with it. I hope it holds up over time. I've only had it about a month now. So far so good. Excellent quality and price. Quick delivery.

We really enjoy our Purple mattress. It does take a bit to get used to the feel. However, I noticed that the first morning after sleeping on our Purple mattress that I didn't have the usual back or hip pain to which I was accustomed. I truly like waking up in the morning and not needing to "walk out" the stiffness and pain. I have recommended Purple to several people.
