The bed is firmer feeling which I prefer and does good for my back. It's a little firm for my wife's liking. I like it for back sleeping. For side sleeping it's ok, but the arm we are sleeping on does "fall asleep" I believe due to the firmness. I like the bed, and my wife thinks it's ok. We have decided to keep it and overall, I would buy it again.

I was disappointed with the overall height as its so short. Also, while not as hard as memory foam, it still not as soft as I would like. Finally, within month of trying it, I already have a swell beginning to form. At 230lbs, I'm not a snowflake, but I'm also not a cow either.

Buying a Purple Mattress was the best decision I could've made for myself. I've never slept so good!! I didn't realize how bad my old mattress was until the very first night with my new Purple Mattress. I've had chronic back, hip and leg pain for years. Since having the new mattress I don't toss and turn all night and wake up feeling like I was hit by a truck. Also, if I've had a rather busy day and my back and legs start to bother me, I just go lay down on my bed for a few minutes and get up ready to finish the day. 10/10 recommended to friend and family.

When I got the mattress I had just got home from work and set it up, i intended to just lay on it to try it out and fell right to sleep. Now about 2 weeks later and I have noticed a definite increase in energy throughout the day. (I am a painter going up and down 40 ft ladders and hauling around 5 gallon buckets). Even my coworkers have said it seems like I am in "beast mode" at work. As a result I just put an order in tonight for the Purple Pillow. Thanks Purple for the best sleep of my life!

Recently moved into an apartment without a mattress on day one, figured I could handle a couple days without one. Bad, bad idea. Fortunately the Purple mattress delivered quickly enough to save my bad back from further grief. Honestly, I would have liked the mattress better if it was a little softer, but after nearly a month with the mattress and my back feeling the best it could be, maybe, just maybe, this is a case where what I want is not what is best for me? I don't know, but spinal health is important to me and a satisfied back deserves 5 stars.

I like it a lot but it is firmer than I expected. I was getting bbused to it but my wife was still having s harder time with it. I ended up putting on a 2" mattress topper and now it's much better. I went from a queen sleep number bed that I did like but it was old and we wanted a king size bed. Couldn't believe how expensive the sleep numbers were now so we took a chance on Purple and glad we did.

For years I have had post-injury back issues. One thing that would occur would be tons of cracking and popping in my back and hips when I got out of bed. My mornings are quiet now! My back is no longer stud when I wake up, and my arms no longer fall asleep during the night! No more sharp hip pains from sleeping on my side so much, and seriously just the best sleep I've ever had! Thank you! I only wish this didn't make travel seem so bad now-I dread not sleeping on MY bed!

We bought the hybrid 2 this past winter and went through the achy back and neck pain stage then the bed was pretty good. My wife was pregnant and she said it was the best sleep she had ever gotten. Recently I've been waking up throughout the night sweaty and sticky. I asked my wife if she had experienced this also and she had. We bought the mattress protector and the best sheets purple offered. Really not sure what's going on here. We have central air and never experienced this with our former bed. Wish we were still within the 100 day return window, I would definitely send it back.

I have a wonderful experience with the company. They were easy to do business with. Alas, the bed was too firm for our comfort. Neither of us were able to get great sleep with the mattress. It did help with helping manage my body heat, but it wasn't for us.

I dig anything that's approaches life in a less than status quo way. I very much like the idea of avoiding springs for a more supported feel. If I ever have to upgrade to a larger mattress in the future, it will be a purple mattress once more. A suggestion might have if that if I order a Charcoal bed frame, the legs should be grey or black to match, not brown.
