I originally ordered a different mattress but after a month a shipping delays I canceled order and bought a purple mattress ordered on a Thursday was here on the following Tuesday best decision. I have cartilage/nerve damage in shoulder and used to routinely wake in pain not anymore I do wish I ponied up extra for hybrid as regular is a little soft for my liking but that's my own fault as every "professional" review I read was heavier people should upgrade to hybrid but not waking up in pain in still worth it

I almost cried at the relief I experienced from the matress on my lower back and everywhere else. On my back, sides, or stomach, I felt the same relief. I have permanent nerve damage and other medical problems, so I got a purple matress. Now I don't wake up with body parts asleep or in pain.

This bed is great! I got the bed with sheets, pillows, the whole she-bang and it all goes together soooo well. I heard about it from a friend and decided to buy and I'm glad I did. Going to put another order in and try out the weighted blanket here soon oh the soft stretch sheets are it's a must

This mattress rules. I recently purchased a purple mattress and my sleep has gotten progressively better every night. Getting to sleep faster. Waking up more rested. Sleeping cooler. I used to think I was pretty allright at getting some sleep but the mattress has upped my sleep game. Ten out of ten. Five stars. Highly recommend. Fully satisfied.

Just pointing out This bed has made my back feel great again and not sure if Id buy it again but only because I'm not sure if I can get soft and comfy with the support my back needs. Pros - Great on back, Firm I'm 5'7'' 220, very supportive, cool feel not hot at all, definitely different but good feel to the mattress, priced decently. Cons - Firm is like a 9 out of ten if ten is the firmest. to close I've slept great this last month and haven't woken up many times like on my old mattress. definitely an improvement over my old king pillow top. I would recommend but not if you must have super soft

I love my purple mattress, I am a restless sleeper and would normally toss and turn all night and be unable to stay comfortable in one position for long. This is all gone with the Purple. It also does not transfer a lot of motion, so my wife is sleeping better now as well since when I do roll over I am not waking her up.

I have been sleeping on the Original Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and it's fantastic! I now actually look forward to getting into bed each evening. My old mattress was way beyond its lifespan so the difference is day and night (no pun intended).

So my old mattress was in pretty bad shape and I hadn't slept well in months so I decided it was finally time for a new one. When the purple mattress came, my boyfriend who is 6'4, 195 lbs says it's great. Me however, 5'4 and 117 lbs, I feel like I'm sleeping on the hard floor with a light blanket over it. I don't sink in at all and I wake up with back pain every night, worse than my old mattress. If I sleep on my side, my arm is dead when I wake up, which didn't happen with my old one. I have not known comfort or a good night's rest, since sleeping on this mattress. I absolutely hate it. I think I'm close to the minimum date of keeping it before requesting return. I just want to sleep comfortably and throughout the night and this is causing me to sleep worse than before. I'm exhausted, I get maybe 3 hours of sleep a night, and I deeply regret buying this mattress. If my bf didn't love it, I would just give it 1 stars. Also, there was sooooo much stinking plastic when taking it out. We had to get rid of it in multiple WEEKS because it was literally too much for our bins in one go.

From the moment the purple mattress entered our household I instantly fell in love. Anytime we have guests over the house I don't even hesitate before commanding them to go lay in our bed, the comfort I feel with this mattress is something that needs to be shared with the world. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother reading reviews on anything else, just buy a purple.

We bought the Purple mattress with high hopes, the week prior to the release of the new Purple 2,3, and 4. We've had or slept on many different types of mattress over the years and none has worked for us. We visited the Purple factory where there is a small show room and tried out a very well used demo bed, and decided to take a chance. Now, three months later, with our own Purple mattress, we decided it isn't for us. It is just to firm and doesn't provide enough give to relieve the pressure on my bones and joints. It is a little too supportive. So, the trek back to the Purple store, where the Purple 3 seemed like just the thing. Not to firm, not to soft. Just right. I made a phone call to return our original Purple mattress and to exchange it for the much more expensive Purple 3. The Customer service people I've talked to have been pleasant and very kind on the phone. They happily emailed me instructions on how to accomplish my exchange. In reading through them, I came to a troubling note at the bottom. It says, " ANOTHER NOTE: You have 100 calendar days to exchange your Purple® mattress from the date of delivery through the comfort trial. The second mattress is ineligible for any comfort trial or exchange." I called customer service back to clarify that last sentence, and was told that indeed, there is no 100 night trial on the Purple 3 mattress should I exchange for it. Here is where the tale comes to a very sad and frustrating end. I can try one bed for 100 nights, but if it doesn't work, I have to buy outright the second, much more expensive bed. Somehow, this doesn't seem right. I understand that there are those out there who just try to work the system. I just want a good night's sleep. I guess Purple is not for me after all.
