We got our first mattress about six years ago and unfortunately over time it lost its support. A friend reminded me of the warrantee and I figured what could I loose so I contacted purple with my story. They were AMAZING. I sent a few pics and within a day or two our new mattress was on its way. Unfortunately through a mix up they delivered the wrong size to a long ago address. I thought for sure it was all over but no, they were so apologetic and comped us a wonderful set of purple sheets which are awesome in their own right and then they sent another new mattress to the right address and it is the right size. Not only that they communicated with us throughout the process so we knew what was happening. Now we are sleeping pretty on our new mattress and they arranged for pick up of the old. I can't express how fantastic the customer service is and how great and comfy the products are. I will always have a purple going forward and recommend you do too!!

I've only had my Original Purple mattress for a couple of weeks but so far I'm impressed! I purchased it to replace a popular foam mattress. I was attracted to Purple because I know I didn't want to go foam (at least the top layer) again. I'm not light at ~ 220lbs and I sleep at a temperature that screams "something is wrong with me." So, you put my weight and my thermostat problems together - slap some memory foam under it and it's like your 95 years old every morning getting out of a bed of warm silly putty. Sooo, in comes Purple.... My back pain is down a lot (oh and I only have back pain when sleeping so this was a big test for me) and I sleep cooler. I can't give five-stars in good faith right now because I've only had the bed for a few weeks (durability is undecided but there is a warranty of course) and the lack of outside edge support is a bummer. I read countless reviews before my purchase so I was aware of this issue (edge support) before I bought the mattress. I would have sprung for the P2 or P3 to combat this if it wasn't such a massive price discrepancy. I think Purple should reach out to current Original Purple customers during their trial and offer them the chance to "upgrade" to a New Purple at a reduced cost Overall, I'm very pleased. My dog and my girlfriend are too. This may sound strange (and rest assured it is) but even my dog sleeps cooler. She's built like a wookie (the dog) and bails for the cool tile floor less often now that I have this mattress. Four thumbs up here and a pair of dew claws too.

I expected it to possibly be too soft. However, while it does conform too cradle you, it is comfortably firm. At first, I thought it too firm. I just had to give myself a day or two to adjust (not used to the lack of springs). When I can get another, I will probably get one for my granddaughter as well.

We have been sleeping on the mattress for about a month now. We weren't sure what to expect but so far we love it. We seem to sleep easier and better. Also the pillow is surprisingly comfy. I was skeptical at first because it seemed flatter than the contoured pillow I am used to, but it really works!

This has been the best mattress ive ever purchased ...I had terrible hip and lower back pain due to my last bed, So i only had the bed for 3 days and all my pain went away its honestly the best bed in the world ITs not to firm and not to soft ....Ive been recommending this bed to everyone....

We were happy with the service from Purple. Fast shipping, simple and easy set-up, and the mattress is super comfortable of course. My primary reason for a new mattress was pressure points, waking up with sore hips and shoulders, and the new mattress is helping with that. The only complaint I have is that the foam mattress reflects body heat and I end up sweating in the night, but this is a problem we anticipated and it's not as bad as I had feared.

First things first, I love my purple mattress. It was NOT love at first sleep or first week of sleep. What did it? I slept on someone else's mattress after a week or two of sleeping on my purple mattress. All three other mattresses did not feel good. They also made me realize that my purple mattress actually allows my tight muscles relax and reduces my sciatic pain. Hadn't realized my lower back pain was disappearing until I slept on a different (uncomfortable) mattress. That said, the purple mattress is expensive. I'm not wholly convinced I couldn't have been happy/happier with a less expensive mattress and more stretching. Preferred sleep style: primarily on my back (start that way); if not sleeping well, I'll roll to my side Weight:120-130lbs Concerns: sore muscles from frequent intensive strength training, 2 bulging discs with sciatic pain

For several years we have had the sleep number bed. It worked fine for me but my husband was still having pressure issues. Numb hands, feet and back pain. From the first night on the bed he slept all night which in turn made me sleep all night. We didn't realize his pain issues kept me up as well. It has been 1 month and so far we are loving the bed.

If you like super-fluffy pillow tops, this is NOT the bed for you! We just spent the weekend in a hotel, and missed our Purple so much! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this bed. It's just something you've got to try to believe! If you are even remotely considering this bed, just pull the trigger and do it! You won't be disappointed! I'd say the only negative experience I had was unwrapping the dang thing from the 2 inches of plastic it is shipped in. That was a little intense, but then again I did get an entire mattress delivered to my front doorstep! Seriously. Love. This. Bed!!!

I debated about buying the purple mattress for over two years before actually doing it. All I can say is, "Why didn't I do this sooner?" My wife and I instantly noticed better, more restful sleep after the first night. If you are like me and unsure about whether or not to give the purple a chance, do it. You will not regret it.
