My boyfriend purchased this mattress to appease my relentless complaining of his 4 times hand me down, 25+ yr old beauty rest... soooo... it was better than that I guess HAHA. BUT I had spent the 4 yrs previous on a very nice temperpedic and lets just say there is NO comparison. With mattresses you get what you pay for. Probably would not purchase again.

I searched high and low for the perfect bed and on the way I found the perfect bedcover, sheets, and even a cushion for my tush! I live with neuropathy, myopathy, spinal stenosis, and a whole mess of pain. Previous nights I could only sleep 2-3 hours at a time before pain theww me out of bed. Having this bed only a couple of weeks and I am now sleeping 5-6 hours feeling more rested. I feel so relaxed and supported on my bed. The sheets are soft and breathable, the bedcover has amazing technology and keeps my mattress safe! The cherry on top is my cushion. I have sat on gel pillows for years and they don't hold a candle to how supportive, relaxing, and pain relieving this pillow is. With my boyfriend and I having matching Purple beds and sheets, plus the daily use of my sweet Purple cushion, you can say we are living the Purple life! We can't wait for the pillows! I am a mother of 2 wonderful little boys-- since my fist sons birth over 5 years ago I have had terrible hip and back pain that just got worse with my second child 2 years ago. I had NEVER been able to sleep through the night. I was constantly tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable. We even bought a brand new mattress that had great reviews-- I still could not get comfy! Scrolling through Facebook one day my husband saw a Purple ad and that got us talking about the idea. Since there is a 100 day guarantee we decided to give it a try. I kid you not.. I am sleeping better than I have in years! No more tossing and turning.. no more waking up to go to the restroom because I'm barely asleep. I sleep like a rock through the night and it is WONDERFUL! I give Purple an A+++++!

When I was laying down watching tv... I was thinking to myself I wasn't sure how I feel about it... then i realized I have not moved from my position since I laid down. I then realized this was a great mattress. The pillows aren't really for me, they're too low.. if that makes sense and heavy, I'm the type that likes to put my arm underneath the pillow and it's a little awkward.

I bought the bed about a month ago and I'm happy with it. I thought it was really soft at first but after a night or two of sleeping on it, I realized it was quite firm below the top layer of padding (the only part that is talked about on the commercials). If I could redesign this mattress, I'd make the layers below the top, cellular padding a little softer.

Generally very positive. It did however take some time to arrive but given a choice now I'd never return it no matter how long it took.When you get a mattress like this it feels like a celebration . You want to make your bedroom a place of peace and tranquility where you can rejuvenate!

I'm 250 pounds and my chief worry was that the Purple would be too soft. No such problem. If anything, the Purple isn't soft enough. While my pressure points DO sink into the gel (excuse me: "hyper-elastic polymer"), it doesn't quite give enough for me. I will say that my back pain is less with the Purple, but not gone. And this mattress is not "temperature neutral" or "sleeps cool". It's cold. As in "suck the life out of you" cold. The gel is a giant, full-length heat sink. Our house is 70 degrees and when you get into bed, you are lying on a 70 degree heat sink that you sink into slightly. After a few really difficult nights, I dug out an old electric blanket that we hadn't used in years and put that on the bed. I run the electric blanket for about an hour before going to bed and the mattress is MUCH more comfortable to sleep on. After 30 days on Purple, I'm still not decided as to whether I will keep it or not.

We got the original purple mattress, but it was way too firm for us. We are both on the smaller side (115lbs and 155lbs). I think it would have been better for us to get the hybrid mattress, but it was way too expensive. The return process was really easy though, and the service was great!

Overall I'm very pleased with the mattress and pillow. The pillow is my favorite part because I literally bought over 20 pillows in the past year trying to get a good one and none worked, the purple pillow works for me and I'm happy as can be. Thanks purple for a great nights sleep

We had to get rid of our last bed because of constant back pain. After having this last mattress for less than 2 years and hating it from the week after we brought it home I was ready to try something different. After the Purple mattress arrived I was at first a little leery of how soft it felt when I laid on it. But while it is nice and soft it does support the back and I have don't have the back pain any more. Now the more I sleep on it the more I like it. I would recommend this mattress to anyone.
