The mattress is wonderful and so comfortable. The sheets are super soft. My only complaint was the shipping method. While I like free shipping, I would have paid for shipping if it had been handled better. Fed Ex, left the bed frame in the middle of my drive way when they delivered it, despite seeing there were multiple cars parked, (someone is clearly home) & the following day when my mattress arrived - fed ex again, left it the dead center of the middle of my drive way. For as much money as I paid for this, I would have appreciated a little more care on the delivery. I ordered the queen mattress which is well over 100 lbs when shipped so it was annoying to have then get it another hundred yards to my front door before getting it inside. My suggestion would be to switch to UPS.

I purchased a twin bed mattress for my son's guest room so I could visit my newborn grandson without being crippled by the guest bed. It is now as comfortable as my bed at home, and I was able to stay with my son and his family until family routines evolved and they were comfortable caring for their newborn.

I have slept on many different kinds of mattresses; regular pillow tops, air mattresses (sleep number), and Tempurpedic. Other than the tempurpedic, I have always had a 2 inch memory foam topper on my mattresses, but the Purple mattress is by far my favorite. I used to wake up with pain in my shoulders and hips, and my husband was plagued by lower back pain. The first morning after having our Purple mattress, we woke up with more energy than we have had in years. I know they say your body takes time to adjust, but this mattress has been perfectly comfortable from the beginning. When first sitting on the Purple, it seems like it might be too firm, but when you actually lay down you can feel different parts of your body sink in while other parts, like your feet, feel like they're floating. The only downside to this mattress is having to get out of it. There have been a few occasions where I have stayed in bed all day because I was just too comfortable to be bothered to get up. My husband and I tend to move a lot in our sleep, but this mattress doesn't transfer all the movement. It transfers some, but it is barely noticeable. I also tend to sleep in all styles, and have found that they are all comfortable, rather than being confined to one comfortable position to get to sleep. Overall, this mattress is everything it boasts. It is worth every penny, and then some. I would definitely recommend the Purple mattress to anyone who sleeps. My senior dog also seem to greatly enjoy sleeping on the Purple as well.

I'm 130 pounds and have a small waist and wide hips. The bed needs a lot of pressure to contour and my light build doesn't cause the material to "give". I wish they made one for lighter eight people that contoured to their body shape. I haven't figured out a pillow configuration that works yet, either so... It's just ok.

I will write a review after my daughter has slept on the mattress for the 100 days. Please note, she suffers from amplified pain syndrome and is never without pain. It will be interesting to see how her sleep is affected by the Purple. We are hopeful.

I was very excited for the purple mattress as I had been sleeping on an old inherited spare bedroom mattress for a couple of years. I am a side sleeper and many mattresses are too firm to allow good alignment (I'm 5 ft 120lbs). I tried to push through the back pain but sadly now am dealing with pain throughout the day and have ended up sleeping on my couch (it's been about 90 days).

My wife and I have been debating for over a year about what we would want in our next mattress. I knew that I need the support of a firm mattress, cooling gel would be nice, zipped in mattress linner, and upgrading from a queen size to a king size bed. I started see Purple ads, which got me looking into reviews either good or bad. I realized early on that the bad reviews were bias. We looked at the benefits and the price, and went for the king size with the platform base. The platform is very sturdy and leaves so much storage underneath. The first few nights of sleep on the Purple Mattress was awesome and continues to provide us a great night sleep. One night our daughter came to talk with us and within a few minutes she was fast asleep on our bed. My wife and I have mention this Purple mattress to many friends and family, some have even came by to experienced the mattress. I call it our purple cloud.

I laid on this mattress in a store and thought it felt like laying on clouds but the mattress I got is hard and I wake with back pain daily. I'm trying to give it time, but it's been 3 weeks already. My husband on the other hand likes it better than our previous original mattress factory bed. I would not buy again.

I've had all kinds of beds throughout my life, and most of the time always eventually woke up sore and tired. Our Purple arrived 03/02/2018, and on the morning of 03/08 as of this writing, we are still in heaven! Even though I like a softer feel, the .2 is perfectly supportive at night and I don't wake up in any pain or stiffness, which is great because my boyfriend prefers a firmer bed. I cannot recommend this bed enough, and believe you me I've not stopped talking about it once! The sheets, the pillows, the seat cushion, EVERYTHING is amazing!

I have sever arthritis and needed something to replace our Sleep Number that just wasn't helping (not to mention my wife's side of the bed would deflate 3-4 times through out the night). She wanted to try the Purple. We got it and from sleep #1 my wife was in love. It took me a few weeks to adjust to the mattress. Honestly I wish it were a little softer but I do like how it cradles all my pressure points. I don't think I sleep any better but my wife does. I also purchased the cushion for my office chair. I was at first apprehensive about the price, however, this cushion is amazing. I can sit longer without the arthritis hurting my hips. If I could afford it I'd buy more to place throughout the house and car. This cushion is a God send.
