I am in my 60's and just found out i have osteoarthritis in my lower spine. Every morning i would wake up with soreness in my shoulders and hip pressure points with my old mattress and i would have a terrible time standing straight up because of my back. I'm a side sleeper so i spent about a month researching alot of mattresses online and reading hundreds of reviews. One purple review stuck in my mind about a man who had tried trials with many top of the line mattresses and he was a side sleeper also and purple was the one he kept and raved about. So we bought one just the regular one and i cannot find the correct words to describe this mattress. This mattress moves with every move you make no matter how big or small the move. It gives with all your pressure points so my shoulders and hips feel wonderful and my back feels good enough in the morning that i can stand straight up without needing an oil can. The feel of this mattress is hard to put into words. It moves with you but is not sinky soft but yet it has some firmness but is not rock hard. You just have to try it for yourself. My husband and i both love it and by the way even though their sheets are a little pricy they are like sleeping in heaven. They are soft and cool and dont move.

This bed has helped me sleep a solid night - Yup. The Purple mattress design has helped keep me cooler when I get my nightly hot flashes, and I tried a leading foam mattress with a cooling gel top, and the Purple mattress design is superior in dissipating my body heat. I've had minor but chronic lower back pain for two decades, which I reduce by exercise. I thought it was just a consequence of getting old. I've had my Purple mattress for about a month and am glad to report now that my back pain is gone! I am so happy with this very comfortable mattress! My wife hasn't decided yet, but she can never make her mind up about anything. She will eventually know what is good for her.

I have been sleeping on a number type of bed for years. One of the bladders lost the ability to hold air. I saw an online advertisement for the purple mattress. I thought about it for a week and then decided to go for it. I do not regret that decision. I have chronic, acute arthritis in my lower back, and I wondered if I could adapt to a foam mattress as opposed to air support. I love it. I was more comfortable and slept for longer periods of time on the very first night. It just keeps getting more comfortable the longer that I sleep on it. For me, this mattress has been a wonderful improvement in my sleep comfort.

We bought the purple bed and the platform base. The platform base is super easy to setup. For the first few days the platform base was quiet and held up to what "purple" advertised it would do. Week 2 and the platform base squeaks with any movement on the bed any turning and platform squeaks. It's annoying now and makes the whole experience of the purple bed not enjoyable. Too make things worse it says that the platform base has no returns, maybe we just got a defective one because I have seen raving reviews on the platform base.

I have never bought a brand new bed. I wanted a memory foam mattress for a long time, heard reviews, talked to some owners, changed my mind. I chose the purple mattress because of the pressure point relief advertisement. I was not disappointed. I fall asleep faster and have a deeper quality of sleep. I hope this lasts for a long time.

At first I was extremely iffy about the whole thing, but once the mattress came in and I slept on it, let me tell you dude, this mattress is by far the best investment I've ever made. It caresses my body like no other mattress EVER has. I extremely recommend it

The mattress feels nice and seems to provide good support. However, for me, it didn't provide enough support for my hip area causing lower back pain. To be fair, I'm super sensitive to mattresses and need a firmer matress than Purple. One major issue I had with the mattress is it ridiculously heavy because of the gel and hard to move around once you open it since the mattress it's limp.

I've had my purple mattress and platform base a little over three years and it has not held up at ALL. The side that I sleep on feels flat compared to the side my partner sleeps on. Feels like I'm laying on the bare platform with no mattress. Horrible for the price.

It was so fun to unwrap. After we got it situated on the frame I put on our non stretchy, 100% cotton regular sheets. I will confess that I had been busy and didn't get to the store (Ross) to look for jersey knit sheets. They don't always have them so I should have started checking the store for them months ago. That night I was a little dissapointed. While it was a great bed, much better than our 16 year old, cratered, sagging mattress, I was a little underwhelmed. I know they really reccomend getting stretchy sheets so I wasn't going to give up until I had tried stretchy sheets. Off to Ross I went. I was prepared to go back every week until I got some. As luck would have it, or maybe it was answered prayers, they had two queen sets of jersey knit sheets. That evening, with new sheets on the bed, I was hoping for the best --- and IT WAS!! I was so cool and comfortable. It is amazing what a difference the sheets make!! It was a great bed before but the sheets really bring out its full potential. Thanks for such a great product!! I will definitely purchase from Purple again.
