My husband tried convincing me to agree to getting a purple mattress for years. I was not sold and put it off. We took the plunge and he was right all along. It is the best bed I have ever slept in and I get much better rest along with less back and joint pain. Looking forward to buying the pillows soon!

I was concerned when I first got the mattress. It was heavy, it came in a funny tube, and I was worried I was going to feel the top grid when I slept on it. It is by far the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on. It's actually stopped me from getting up a few times on the weekends. I would highly recommend it to someone coming from any other form of mattress. I had an adjustable firmness matress which was causing back pain, but this has pretty much stopped that. 10/10 would recommend.

If you are a side sleeper, get either the purple 3 or 4. The original purple is too firm and allows for high pressure on hips and shoulders. Personally, my shoulders are very sore when I wake up in the morning. An up side is the mattress regulates body temperatures well. It is perfect for hot sleepers and is a million times better than memory foam mattresses in that regard.

I have a bad knee and back issues. Had a 12 year old pillow top mattress with 4 inch memory foam top, before I went Purple. tried it at a friends house and wow. So 2 months later I took the plunge and ordered my purple. First 3 nights I felt good but woke up feeling a little out of place. But after the fourth night, now I don't want to get out of bed, and wake feeling awesome. back issues have disappeared, I know it's not a fix, but it feels great. most of the time I don't even use a pillow( I do have a lift feature on my frame) so I just raised the top 3 inches and push the pillows away. I really love this mattress and the sheets too. You have nothing to lose but sleep, try it you will love it...

I've been waking up sore all over for years. Didn't really matter what kind of mattress, except for once on a TempurPedic. As I cannot afford such an expensive mattress, I gave up on comfortable sleep. I came across the Purple ad while on YouTube one day, and was skeptical at first. I looked up reviews on their website, YouTube, and other sources and decided to give them a try. It has been one of the BEST decisions I've ever made! I'll NEVER buy anything else! Even my girlfriend loves this mattress. It's not just a sales pitch, or hype. IT'S THE BEST SLEEP I'VE EVER HAD! No more pain! My son (9) likes my bed so much that I'm getting him one. He's ADHD, and usually has a hard time falling asleep. Not on my Purple. He's out in 10 minutes or less! (Only problem is that I then have to move him to his room) The only thing I don't like it that I don't WANT to get out of bed because it's so comfortable! It's not physically hard to get out of, just that I don't want to. Others have said this, and I thought it was an exaggeration. Nope. Not for me, anyway.

The Purple mattress is not like other foam or innerspring mattresses. The extra soft compliant upper layer makes it ideal for this 6'2", 220 lb. side sleeper. My hip and shoulder are cradled by the squishy layer and don't contact the underlying foam. I believe the special stretchy Purple mattress cover and bottom fitted jersey knit sheet are key to the mattress' performance in this regard. OTOH, the matching jersey top sheet will attempt to strangle you in your sleep when you roll over so I use a standard cotton one instead!

I'm a sucker for marketing. I'm kind of the ideal consumer; my psychology is extremely basic. So naturally, I've wanted a Purple mattress since Goldilocks revealed the egg test to me. A few weeks ago, I finally decided it was time. I purchased my basic purple mattress, checked out online, and waited not even long enough for me to be anxious. They promised me a tracking number but I didn't get to even check the status because my mattress was already at my door, conveniently rolled with handles. I put it on my bed, wrestled with it for a little bit, and voila! It inflated and I had a mattress! I later found the instructions and the cutting tool that would've made the already simple setup even easier. Then I got on the bed. And I did not get up. It was insanely comfortable and I could FEEL it correcting my posture and aligning my spine in this sort of Nirvana state of ecstasy that I've never before experienced. And what's even better is that it DIDN'T HEAT UP. My body is a furnace that usually has a matttress reciprocate it's heat until the entire building has reached a homeostasis of raging inferno. Now, my black cat and I both lay down-ON THIS MATTRESS-to cool off. I can not recommend Purple enough. They're really good at advertising, but even better at making mattresses.

I'm going to start off by saying I'm a fan! I never took the time to write a review before because let's face it, usually you only write when you aren't happy.... I have been happy with my purchases. My first purple purchase was a mattress about two- three years ago. It was and has been amazing! I have owned a crazy number of types of mattresses with some pretty ridiculous price tags (17k was about the biggest) and I can honestly say the purple mattress is the only one I still own out of all of them! Since my original purchase we have added an additional mattress and four pillows (2 OG and 2 of the latest). I didn't go with the new mattress when we decided to purchase our second because quite frankly if it's not broke why fix it? We love our second one as much as our first! The pillows..... it was kinda broke, so we kept our faith and they redeemed themselves with the second one! The same with mattresses, I have had my fair collection of pillows and the newest ones from purple are pretty dang comfy! It's like they watched the guy with the my pillow ad and said hey I'm gonna take his slogan and go actually make the pillow they are talking about (the my pillow guy didn't even do that)...... so basically if you want an all around comfy mattress that actually makes your body feel amazing the next day then purple is the best bang for your buck! I'm seriously waiting for our new puppy to get out of the puppy stage so I can order the pet bed.

I've made the switch from coil spring mattresses and it was worth it. Purple really takes the risk away with their trial period, but once you unpack the mattress you'll realize with the quality and heft that this mattress has that it is a solid product. The bed is firm and can support my weight just fine in the many positions I sleep in. My major neck and back pains caused by my older mattress went away within the first few days and after a month and a half my chronic aches went away as well. My purple mattress helped me invest in better sleep and it's paid off by giving me more energy during the day that I didn't know I had.

I have always bought the pillow top mattress that was always nice and cushy not to soft and not to hard, I felt like goldilocks. My bed was perfect. Then the years passed and I grew older, or at least my body did, and my old back started getting sore in the morning so I decided to give PURPLE a try. Purchasing a bed on line without ever touching it or feeling it was the scariest thing I had ever done. The bed comes in this Giant Purple tube, you pull it out, cut off the plastic, unroll it, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and it is ready to use. It does have a slight smell. It went away after about 3 days. NOW to the Sleeping...IT WAS WONDERFUL! I can only describe it like this and I hope everyone can understand this. It is the oddest most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Oddest because I was expecting it to be hard , which it was and it wasn't. The bed just hugs your body in certain spots, I sleep better and my back wasn't miraculously healed overnight, but, it has been about 10 days and it is definitely a lot better than it was!! So Thank You Purple for the amazing Bed! OH....the sheets are amazing!!
