We just love our purple. My wife is a never-move-back-sleeper. she would sleep about 5 hours and then wake up. I am a "move all over sleep any way I can bad backer." I would never be able to fall asleep and be rested in the morning. When we got our purple, we both immediately were able to sleep. She reports the first time since she remembers that she can stay asleep all night. I actually wake up with my back feeling like it rested. I'm a bit surprised at how good it feels. We opted to wait and see if we need the sheets. Don't make our mistake, but the sheets. That is our pet peeves our current sheets feel so stiff. I cheat and sleep on the mattress protector and I can't wait for our sheets.

I wanted to like this mattress, I really did. The construction and materials allowed for great airflow and kept me very cool for the bit I spent in the AZ summer. Unfortunately, my body adapted in reverse. I loved it at first but slowly my sleep kept getting worse and I developed a big pain in my lower back that I could take no longer. I would advise giving it a try though.

I saved up for an entire year to buy mine. I was so excited. I am going to be 100% honest. The adjustment period killed me. It took me about 3-4 weeks before my lower back pain would go away, although my shoulder and neck pain went away immediately. Once I got through the adjustment period I feel in love (as I did in the store when I tried it). I'm glad I waited it out, as the first few weeks I had dreadful thoughts of sending it back & having to possibly admit to my husband a bad investment. Now its the best mattress I've ever had and I can't wait to get the power base!

My husband purchased the mattress while I was out of town. I was a little skeptical!! The first night I slept on it I was a believer! It is amazing! We've had it a little over a month and I've never slept better! It's the perfect softness and firmness!!

I noticed the mattress felt best when I lay on it without a bed cover and sheet. But with the bed cover and sheet im noticing the weight does not distribute as evenly. I will be trying to find more elastic sheets to help with this. I aim noticing some slight drops but nothing significant. however, I have not woke up in pain yet! So that's a great start!

I ordered the Purple pillow and mattress(got free sheets with the promo at the time). I was hesitant to purchase from Purple because of same bad review I had read online. I had done a lot of research to try and find the best mattress for me(I suffer from chronic lower back and neck pain). After finding another mattress I thought would be good I was going to purchase it but I still felt that the Purple was the right choice for me. I overcame my hesitation and pulled the trigger on purchasing the Purple pillow and mattress(it did help that the sheet promo was going on). I received the pillow and sheets first. I was very surprised at how heavy the pillow was. Feeling the pillow with my hand was quite amusing to me(it's so squishy). When I finally got over the initial excitement I laid down with the new pillow and I had never felt anything like it before. It was almost as if I wasn't even on a pillow. I did still have some neck pain the first night with the new pillow but I blame my mattress. The sheets were very stretchy and it was obvious(at least to me) that regular sheets just wouldn't give the full experience of the Purple mattress and pillow. A couple days later the mattress came and it too was very heavy(I would recommend getting someone to help you up stairs). Once the mattress was set up it to felt like nothing I've felt before. It is both soft and firm at the same time. Just as the advertisements say, the first few inches is a pressure relief layer and the next two are for support. For the past 2 years or so I have woken up almost every day with neck pain and the first night I slept on the mattress/pillow/sheets combo I didn't have any pain. I've now been sleeping on the combo for about 2 weeks and still wake up pain free. I tend to have bad posture so I do still have pain during the day occasionally, but the feeling of no pain in the morning is fantastic. I'm not saying that this combo cured my pain completely, because it didn't, but I am saying it significantly reduced my pain. My body is still getting used to the whole setup but I am very confident that when my body has fully adjusted(and I learn to no slouch) I will have little to no pain.

This was a good quality mattress, but was too hard for me. I believe their proprietary topper could be one of the best in the industry, but unfortunately, I wasn't heavy enough (175lbs) to get to it (they send a sample with the mattress and you can tell that it is of great quality and unique). Unfortunately, it felt like I just laid on top of the mattress with little to no sinkage. If purple ever makes a softer bed, with the same support, I will consider purchasing again, but the mattress was just too hard. Additionally, if Purple ever decides to sell the mattress topper as a single unit, I will absolutely consider purchasing. Once I found an organization that took mattress donations, receiving a refund was quite easy, and very quick, and more importantly, someone in need of a mattress received one.

Full-Size Review: When I was single I had a back issue to where every time I would wake up as a side sleeper, my back would 'crack' from top to bottom. I purchased the original purple mattress full size when it was around $1,000. Best investment I have ever made. Now that the price is lowered I can recommend to you that this mattress is worth the price as it is now. Queen Size Review: Now that I am newly married, a full size is not spacious enough for my Husband and I so we upgraded to a queen. I'm still in fact in love with it and so is my husband. It's been about over a year from using a purple mattress and I can say that I have no back pains, no discomfort. I sleep very very well. Financing: When purchasing the queen mattress in December 2018, Purple had allowed a 6-month payment plan at 0% APR for me. Definitely affordable for around $200 a month. P.S I recommend purchasing the sheet protector with the mattress.

I have had my mattress for almost a year now and I still love it. I have teo protruding disks and my SI joint is messed up but when I lay on this bed it helps soooooo much with the pain i use to have. I can get some good rest for once without waking up hurting worse than I felt before I laid down. I don't think I will buy any other type other than purple! < 3

After having so much pain with my old mattress, my brother suggested The Purple Mattress after hearing reviews from friends. I did so much research and on Black Friday pulled the plug and purchased the King purple mattress. It is very heavy but I was able to set it up by myself. There was little to no smell. And I love it. The Purple Mattress is the way to go. I do not feel any pain in my joints and I cannot feel my husband move around in the bed. I am amazed at this product and will keep suggesting it to others for a new mattress.
