I really wanted to like this mattress. I love the science and ingenutiy that was implemented with it! It's lighter than most mattresses on the market. Plus, there was no transfer of motion when me or my girlfriend shifted our weight. However, I was dissatisfied with my experience of it. Most times, l would feel pain and discomfort in either my shoulders, hips, or neck when I awoke. For me, this problem outweighed the positive features of the Purple mattress. So, I returned it (Thanks for an easy return process, Purple). Although the Purple mattress did not satisfy me, I think it would be a fair solution for some sleepers. This mattress is revolutionary compared to the traditional mattress. Purple actually considered criticisms, suggestions, and issues that people have in reference to their sleep or lack thereof. I appreciate the extensive amount of research Purple has invested in sleep comfort. I'll probably reconsider and try their hybrid mattress if I can't settle on a different brand.

Can't even tell you how much better I'm sleeping since we got our pillows and mattress from y'all ! Stiff neck and headaches are almost gone and no more back pain ! Me and my huands are sleeping so much better and both our back issues are getting better day by bay with yalls new system ! Both sleeping through the night and can I just say that pillow helps my arms not fall asleep and I'm always sleeping on my side. Thank you guys, best investment in ourselves and what a wonderful Christmas present for my hubby and me !

I am still on the fence of if I should keep it or not. Initially I thought that it would be no problem at all to get the kind of rest I need. However I have yet to experience a full nights rest for about a month. My fiancé is having th same problems as well. We are still undecided. Too firm? Not too soft for sure. I want to love it. Just not there yet.

I had the best nights sleep the very first night I set the mattress up. For the first time in such a long time I woke up without being sore from the springs of my previous mattresses. And the coolness of mattress is amazing. The over all experience of sleeping on this mattress turned out so much better than I ever expected. I also got a set of the free sheets and those are amazingly soft it just all pairs well together.

I've been enjoying the mattress. Came like a tootsie roll. Rolled out and it blew up to size in about five seconds. I do think there is something special with the softness for allowing shoulder to go in deep yet supportive for back and spine. No pressure points. It's also easy to roll out of bed. One recommendation is work with fedex on shipment tracking. It arrived within original estimated time but got a couple notifications it would come earlier and it never did. FedEx and purple notifications need to be aligned somehow. Thanks!

They best thing I have in my experience to equate this product to (because there is nothing else like it): Lying on this mattress is like floating on a pool raft without the waves in the water disrupting you. I want to nap all of the time! And customer support folks have been absolute gems when answering my questions. Thank you for being a human company for other humans!

I've been waiting to get a purple mattress for a few years now. I finally was able to get one recently. It's pretty good but it seems like it's taking longer than usual for my body to adjust to it. My neck is the worst, I keep waking up with weird kinks and soreness in the back of my neck and upper back. Hopefully that will end soon. Other than that(lol) I love the mattress.

First thing I have to say is BUY THE SHEETS. They are seriously the best sheets on the planet in the history of sheets. For real real. We got the original purple mattress in a king and so far we are very happy. We have had it going on close to a month, and were kind of nervous about the price and whether or not the reviews are legit or if it was just another overhyped internet PR thing. The mattress itself is weird. Not in a bad way, it is firm and soft at the same time. The backbone of the mattress definately has plenty of support for someone about 200 lbs. The grid at the top is extremely soft. So ypu are comfortable but supported at the same time. Overall its pretty great. My only "complaint" if you want to call it that, is that I wish the comfort grid was about 1" thicker. Its so nice it leaves you wanting more. After laying down for awhile you can feel where the grid ends and the support layer begins. Its not bad, but it makes you wish the grid went on forever. You can feel points like your shoulder and hip bone "bottom out" against the firmer layer underneath. Like I said, this isnt uncomfortable per se, but It the grid is so nice its distracting having points of your body "left out" of the main event. All things considered as long as it holds up after I give it some time, My next mattress will definately be another purple.

I have always slept on my back until now. sleeping on my side is an option now, and it feels great! I disliked my friends Thermorest because it felt stiff when resting on it initially. Though this Purple has that give when resting on it like a pillow top but still supports like a memory foam. Best of both worlds in my opinion!

We have had our Purple for over a month now, and we sleep great. It has helped tremendously with my neck pain and pressure points really do disappear, but my hip pain, especially when laying or propped up on my back, still won't stop. I am pregnant and have been on bed rest quite a bit (meaning I've spent WAY too much time in this bed), so I don't feel like I can blame this all on the bed. Although, it would sure be nice to have a bed I can lay in for days at a time without feeling like my hips are broken. We do love that it is MUCH cooler and more comfortable than the memory foam we slept on before.
