It is dishwasher safe, but due to the smooth finish, it is very easy to hand wash. It is a very beautiful piece to serve a variety of things like appetizers and desserts. I really like how modern looking this platter is and that you can mix and match with other pieces so easily. It is also microwave safe so you can easily heat something up if needed. I am really happy with the quality and wouldn't mind adding other pieces from this collection.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there was a raised speck on the plate, which may bother some people. But super easy to clean and so cute!

I dislike the finish because it shows every mark including the few marks that it arrived with. I don't think the finish would withstand multiple uses without acquiring additional marring on the surface.
