[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Gillette Venus: for pubic hair and skin about 2 weeks ago. I love the Gillette Venus razor. It has sharp blades that do not cut into the skin easily due to the irritation defense bar on it. The razor is very soft on the skin and left my skin looking and feeling smooth. The Gillette Venus Razor comes with an additional cartridge( 2 cartridges total). The blade itself is made from good quality materials and is strong when holding it.

I love how the handle is very easy to grip and it gets the job done the first time!! I absolutely love this razor and will stay up on my refills!!

I haven't had any razor burn since beginning to use this specific razor. I feel like I don't even need to spend money on shaving cream anymore either which is always an extra bonus!

Thoughtfully designed, comfortable grip and ergonomically perfect in size and weight to reach the hard to reach places and I was amazed at how well it removed the hair on the first stroke without having to go over the area several times. It does not offer a smooth, clean shave. I had to go over the area several times which resulted in razor burn. I like the small head which is easier to maneuver, but overall, not worth it.

My only complaint is the shave wasn't quite as close as I prefer. I had to go over some areas multiple times, BUT there was no irritation and it cut through hair very well. So it's a decent trade off for me and my often reactive skin. It got the job done, and was easy to maneuver in hard to reach areas. So overall, it is a great razor if you're prone to irritation.

I have experienced a closer shave, less razor burn and fewer cuts since I began using this. Changing the razor blade is simple and I like that it came with two extra cartridges. I use this for maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this razor for the most part. A few things didn’t work great as the handle seems to be larger and harder to grip when wet in the shower. And I did notice I got a few razor bumps after using which I don’t usually get. I’ll definitely use again to see if maybe I was too aggressive with it since it’s new to me. But over all, not a bad razor.

It’s right up there with the rest of the Venus line. I didn’t find it to be anything better than the average Venus razor but it left my legs feeling smooth and I like that you can turn it around for pubic hair precision.
