[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried many razors for private grooming and they all fall short. I live this razor. The handle is sturdy and the razor cartridge is as well. The blades gets a close shave. The razor on the end is good for getting into hard to reach places. And the best part is so far I have had no razor burn or ingrown hairs since using it.

This one is specialized, a metal base and much heavier than the typical Venus razor. I’m not sure I can tel the difference between this razor and my regular Venus razor.

The razor works very well and gets a close shave on all areas of the body. The special blade to get a close trim works really well but is a tad scary to use at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looked very impressive right out of the package...I liked the comfort of the handle and the placement of the blades.. I also liked the trimmerfeatures on this razor. However, it only works ok on well-maintained underarms and legs(thinner hair). On your pubic areas, the hair needs to be very short to non-existent. The trimmer blades on the back work ok for the trimming of bikini area, but the main blades are not strong enough for the undersides(labial areas). I quite literally wound up finishing my "landscaping" with another razor because the guards on this just do not seem to let the razor get close enough to remove the stubble. Was pretty disappointed, because I normally love Venus products and was expecting much better performance on this item.

The handle is too slippery with soap on my hands and I end up having to grip right next to the blade release button to keep it from spinning in my hands. I haven’t noticed a huge difference with the special blade but was hoping to use it for a while longer to see how things went. However with the handle issues, I’m about to switch back to my old razor.

Very comfortable, easy and smooth to use, and leave a clean skin. What I love most is I don't get myself hurt easily with Gillette razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The Gillette Venus razor is fantastic! It leaves your skin smooth and silky and shaves wonderfully. It barely felt like I was shaving at all and I was stunned that I had no irritation especially in those sensitive areas. The visual appearance of the razor is nice as well, very sleek and I liked the powder blue color. Also, a nice convenience is the extra blade refill. This is by far the best razor that I have ever used. I am 100% satisfied--thanks Gillette.

I’m so glad I have this razor now, shaving my bikini area has always been a dreaded task for me. I never knew if I was gonna end up with nicks or razor burn after but with this razor I’m confident in its ability and don’t dread shaving any longer.
