[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Venus for Pubic Hair and Skin Women's Razor is not all its cut out to be. I was disappointed with the results. It does not offer a smooth, clean shave. I had to go over the area several times which resulted in razor burn. I like the small head which is easier to maneuver, but overall, not worth it.

I prefer something that isn’t plastic so this fit the bill. The blades were about average to me, the did the job but I still had to go over areas a few times, adding that none of my body hair is particularly thick or course. The one thing that I do not like on any razor is the single blade on the backside of the razor head. It’s a bit dangerous to me and I won’t use razors that are made this way because of the way I hold a razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor gives a really smooth shave. It’s great that they’ve decided to make a razor just for the lower parts. It really helps with the sensitive skin there. I didn’t have any knicks or razor burn after using it. I would definitely recommend.

I used to have anxiety when I would shave "down there" because I've cut myself using other razors before. Ouch to say the least!! I figured I'd give this razor a chance, and the first time I tried it I fell in love!! This razor is amazing, it glides so smoothly across your skin and it's almost impossible to cut yourself due to the irritation defense bar that sits between the two blades. I have not cut myself one time since I started using this razor almost a year ago, and haven't had any razor burn either! If you're considering buying this for the first time.. DO IT! You will wish you would've found this razor years ago!

The blade works well on legs/underarm and then there is a part of the blade at the top that allows for precision shaving which I've used on the pubic hair and it hasn't left any irritated skin afterwards. Also, the handle has a nice weight to it. The main con is that the blades don't appear to be interoperable across Venus models, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this new razor! When I opened the box, the razor was attractive and it came with 2 extra cartridges. The handle of the razor is not contoured, just very straight. The razor cartridge has 2 thin blades in it with a moisturizing strip. When I started using it, it almost felt like I was using a man’s razor! It’s a delicate razor blade while shaving in those private areas, and it shaves very, very close. I typically miss areas in the past while shaving private areas, or the shaver doesn’t shave close enough. I can say that a woman should never have those problems with this razor!! My skin is so extremely smooth!! I’ve never had it this smooth, ever! And no nicks or cuts either!! I’m extremely impressed with this product, and proudly adding it to my shaving routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a really smooth bikini area no bumps or scrapes or any irritation at all . This shaver has a comfortable handle and good moisturizer on the blade area and an irritation bar to prevent irritation. Not sure how it works but it does.
