[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this and thought...great a razor that will work better than my normal razor in the public area. Sad story...it doesn't. I found that it doesn't work well with thick and course hair and took several passes to get one strip done, and I still had to go over with my normal razor to get a clean strip. All and all not impressed with this razor and will continue my hunt for a good bikini area razor. The edger on the back of the razor does work good for hard to reach spots. That's the reason I gave two stars instead of one.

The razor is flexible and durable to get the hard to reach places if you know what I mean…. The only bad thing I do have to say is that I do have to make more than one pass to get a soft buttery clean shave.

With this Venus razor that is specifically designed for pubic hair I no longer get razor burn. It has an irritation defense bar and two blades plus a precision trimmer on the back for tricky spots. This razor doesn't pull the hair or give me any discomfort while using. It is easy to use. The handle is comfortable to hold and lightweight. The defense bar really helps the razor glide gently over the skin while removing the hair. This is truly a great razor that I am so glad to have found.

I've tried multiple different razors and either I didn't like how they shaved,left hair,didn't cutt all the way down to the skin or left me with razor burn however this one didn't do any of those things at ALLL! My legs were so the smoothest they've ever been and no red spots,absolutely zero cuts! I love how the handle fits perfectly into your hand it's so comfortable. I do wish it came with a holder for the shower but I can love without that!

It gives a very close shave without the razor burn. It’s easy to hold and not slippery. It comes with 2 additional blade refills. I am excited to bring this on my next vacation!

I have been using it on myself for several weeks and my sensitive skin has not gotten a rash or razor burn. I often struggle with a rash at my bikini line but have had no issues with this. The shave is very smooth. My legs and bikini line are ready for summer! When my son told me he wanted to shave his course leg hair for swim team, I immediately thought of this razor. So, I put on a new blade and let him use it for his legs. He was able to get a much smoother shave with the Gillette Venus than his normal face razor. So far, we are both on our first blades and they are staying sharp. It is very easy to switch the blades. I highly recommend this razor.
