I took my 1 year old cat from the iams healthy kitten straight to this one after his 1st birthday. No problems whatsoever. He seems full and loves it! I feed him the exact same portion that I always have. No issues. I feel confident in iams brand cat food for my sweet baby boy.

I personally don’t eat cat food. But from what I’ve seen my cats eat they tend to love it. We buy it for our cats to strictly prevent hair balls because who wants to clean those up? So if your cats are like our that shed and clean themselves often and get hair balls I highly recommend this to prevent cleaning up those messes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So our bag of IAMS Proactive Health Adult Indoor Weight and Hairball Care arrived in the mail and the kitties were interested as soon as I pulled the bag out of the shipping box. I opened it and served immediately with the special measuring cup sent with the food. ALL our cats (we have 5) went straight for it and ate their portions voraciously. I can say they loved it so much that they didn't want their usual food for the rest of the day. We've been serving both foods (our usual brand) and the IAMS for several days now and the IAMS consistently get an empty bowl. The IAMS are definitely a huge hit with our 5 felines, which include two very picky eaters... Thumbs up!!

The cat food that we were given to try, and now have switched to and use regularly, is the IAMS Proactive Health Indoor Weight and Hairball Care. I must say, at first, the transition was a bit rough. My cats have had some issues in the past with coughing up some hairballs, it was no big deal. Immediately after starting this food, they were coughing them up all day long!!! It was really rather disgusting, but I was shocked to see that they had so much fur stuck in their bellies, and this food helped to relieve that. After about 10 days, there have been no more issues. No more nasty hairballs. I have decided to stick with this particular formula food because I believe that it controls the hairballs, and I like that the food is in very small pieces. My cats also LOVE to eat this food, so it must be flavorful! I would recommend this brand and formula cat food to all indoor cat owners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats are fussy eaters. Really fussy. I don’t know if it’s flavor or texture, but crunchy kibbles are the most difficult to get them to eat. So when this big bag of food showed up to test, I thought it was going to end up getting donated due to lack of interest. I decided to open up the bag after a day of interest by them both. They were very intrigued by the smell of the food and jumped right in to try it. It was a hit! I switch it up with another kibble do they don’t get bored with it. I’m happy with its ingredients, its formulation for indoor cats and its value. Very very pleased.

It makes me happy to know that not only are my cats receiving their daily nutrients but so are a lot of the neighborhood cats. Living in the country we have a lot of "barn" cats and I have already bought another bag and delivered it to one of the farmers for his cats. They are in love.

I absolutley LOVE this cat food! My fur baby has a terrible tummy problem, so he has always had a hard time digesting food. I noticed with Iams ProActive health cat food, he no longer shows any problems! For example, when he would eat Friskies, he would tend to have bowel movement problems; he also had a HUGE problem with hairballs. Ever since I found this cat food, he no longer has those issues! I would 100% recommend this product to any kitty owner😊
