[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my cat has been putting on his winter weight so happy i got this to try. He wasn’t too interested at first but after a few days he starting to come around, he’s a bit picky and sassy (i had to mix with his original kibble and mix it with some wet food). It’s too soon to say if this food helps with his weight but im glad he likes it!

I have 3 cats.  They all eat this type of cat food and don't seem to complain about it.  Because one cat is overweight, all 3 have to diet.  lol.  The big one has been losing weight over the past 2 years gradually.  They still all vomit hair balls though.  

We're on cats numbers 3, 4 and 5. First cat lived 18 years eating regular Iams, but we switched to this formula when we got long haired kitties in the house. Our youngest absolutely loves this food, and when a new bag is opened (we put it in a sealed plastic container) he is literally climbing inside the bag to make sure none was missed. Lately the commissary stopped carrying it for some reason, but I was happy to find an online distributor that offers it at a good price and free shipping. I saw a comment here about "larger size", and have no idea what the author is referring to... please tell me you're not changing this product!

This food is a great balance between price and quality. It is easily accessible at most grocery and pet stores. It is decently priced and the quality of the food is pretty good. It’s not as good of quality as some of the more veterinary recommended brands (hills, Purina, royal canin), but it is more reasonably priced. My cat’s coat also looked nice on this food.

My cats recently switched from kitten kibble to adult ones and at first I got them a different brand but one of my cats didn’t seem to like it and had digestion problems. After I got them Iams proactive health, my cat’s digestion improved withing a couple of days so I will stick with this one for now!

The food is of very decent quality, small to medium sized granules. The food contains the necessary vitamins and microelements. For the money, this food is simply a godsend; the Bengal cat eats it with pleasure. effective food, I would like a zip lock on the package.

I have 4 indoor cats and have used Iams Indoor dry food for years. A week ago all four started being sick-- started by vomiting a few times and then diarrhea. the only common ground is the food. When I went on-line to look for recalls I noticed the reviews and how people were upset with the formulation change. Adding greens. I had not even noticed when I last purchased a bag of food because overall the bag looks the same. Several reviews complained of vomiting. Having four cats with diarrhea for over a week is not fun. Veterinary ordered sub cutaneous fluids, vitamin B injections, probiotics and prescription diet was needed to correct the situation. And of course, NOT feeding the new Iams formulation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat Cosmo is a very fussy eater...who wants to eat all the time. I have found that we just put a little in his bowl all say until the amount he eats is done. He also is fussy about the brands we feed him. But I though we would give it a try. The first day I just put a little bit of the Iams ProActive in his bowl and thought we will see how this works out. He ate every last bit of the food. So the next time I put his food down I gave him all of the Iams and he liked it. He ate it all and then came over for his usual give me more food. I put a little down and he ate that as well. He has now totally been switched to the Iams food and he really likes it. Or I should say my fussy cat loves it!!! I am very happy since I know that I am giving him the best food possiable with all the nutrients and antioxidents that I can give my cat. I want him around for a long time so I need to keep him healthy and active and this Iams food is a great start to a long life for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat, Lucia is about 11 years old. He has wrestled with hairballs his whole life as he has long hair. We switched to this yummy cat food when the magic box arrived from Buzz Agent. I think Lucia could smell it before I even opened the box. I knew it was a winner that first day. I put it in front of him and he ate every morsel. He usually does not finish his whole bowl of food. He has been on this new food for about two weeks now and there hasn't been a hairball in sight. This is great news for me, Lucia, and our carpets. I will continue to serve him this food for everyone's sake. Thank you, Iams!
