[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sampled the Kellogg's Special K Protein Meal Bars 12g protein 9g fiber 180 calories. I got this free to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried the Strawberry ones. What a delicious way to have something healthier to grab at anytime, especially when you are on the go. Just pop one in my purse and I'm always prepared. There is no chalky taste. They are a bit chewy with a slight crunch with pops of Strawberry pieces all wrapped I'm a creamy white coating. I love them! I need to try all the other flavors in the 12g bars family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed my Special K Strawberry bars. The yogurt coating on the outside is so delicious and the crunchy inside is the perfect recipe of nuts and granola. I will be purchasing many more boxes of them in the future.

My personal favorite combination is peanut butter and chocolate, and these high protein meal bars are no exception.

Oh it actually kept me full for a few hours until lunch. It is easy to grab and go in those busy mornings. I am excited to try all the flavors now especially anything to do with chocolate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These protein bars are some of the best I've tried. They taste good and are filling. They gave me the energy I needed to recharge after my workout and also are a good quick grab and go breakfast choice that I can eat while I'm driving or as a quick snack mid day. Can't wait to try the other flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flavor was amazing. I took it before I went to the gym and it helped me by satisfying my hunger for over 3 or 4 hours.I usually have a hard time of snacking after the gym but not now when I eat this before I go. I am so excited to try all the flavors. I recommend this to everyone!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the strawberry protein meal bar until I actually tried it. First, the packaging makes the bar look larger than it is. I know this is common practice, but disappointing, nonetheless. Moving on to actually eating the meal bar, the first bite I had I was expecting something fantastic because it has the extra icing on the end pieces. Sadly, I found this bar to be extremely grainy - not quite as bad as eating sand but close. It leaves behind a bunch of grainy pieces in my mouth after every bite. Not the worst thing ever but it's not that pleasant to eat. Then, where the heck is the flavor? I mean, I could not taste any strawberry at all. Not even a hint of strawberry. I saw little red pieces in the bar that made me think there would be a strawberry taste but no, there just wasn't. Hopefully it'll hold me over for a little while, but I can't say I'm excited to eat any more of these. I might try the peanut butter or chocolate caramel if I can find them anywhere in stores, but I certainly would not be buying the strawberry ones in the future, nor recommending them. They are too expensive to be that lacking in flavor or in enjoyment in eating them. The one good thing is they were so lacking in flavor there was not a gross aftertaste that you sometimes get with other protein bars. I guess that makes them okay.
