[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These protein bars from SpecialK are great. They have a very good strawberry flavor and great texture. The 12 g protein per bar is a nice amount of protein and adds something to my snack that makes me feel I'm eating healthier and better. I give four stars instead of 5 because I feel that they are very expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to sample the Kellogg’s Special K Protein Meal Bars in the strawberry flavor option. The bar was delicious! I am looking forward to trying out the brownie flavor next. Overall, the texture was nice up until it turned grainy towards the end of chewing but it didn’t turn off my tastebuds as it wasn’t too bad. The little strawberry bits were a nice size and tasty. The amount of sugar could be halved as I didn’t care for how sweet these are. It’s more of a dessert and I don’t think I’d enjoy this as a breakfast or dinner meal replacement but maybe an afternoon meal. The size of the bar was large enough to leave me feeling full for about 4 hours.

I tried the Strawberry ones. What a delicious way to have something healthier to grab at anytime, especially when you are on the go. Just pop one in my purse and I'm always prepared. There is no chalky taste. They are a bit chewy with a slight crunch with pops of Strawberry pieces all wrapped I'm a creamy white coating. I love them! I need to try all the other flavors in the 12g bars family.

You taste a hint of strawberry when you first bite into the bar. Then you get the crunch and chewy texture of the bar itself. This bar gives you the flavor you crave and the lasting protein power you need to make it through the day. Can't wait to try the other flavors!

I've been buying the chocolate peanut butter bars for several years now as a meal replacement. During the week, I don't have much appetite for breakfast. These are perfect to grab and go. By the time my first break rolls around, I can eat a bar with a cup of tea, and this tides me over until lunch. I also like the double chocolate. My only suggestion is a new flavor: Cinnamon Roll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kellogg's Special K Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Meals Bars were pretty darn good. Good chocolate and peanut taste without tasting overly sweet. The one down side is that they do contain 12gs of added sugar. UGH! 12 grams?! Why do companies have to add so much sugar? So, I will be eating all these when my diabetic husband is not around. They do work great for on-the-go life styles. They were filling enough to keep away the "hangrys" I would like to try one of the fruit flavors next, I think those might be better for a breakfast on the run.

I love that it’s high in protein (great for me as a vegetarian) and has a reasonable sugar content. It keeps me full for several hours, which is really helpful for hikes and on busy work days. I will by this again in the future.

I am usually not a fan of peanut butter/chocolate mixtures, but this was a tolerable mix of flavors for me. The filling used is a little grainy but I've found that with most protein bars. I would definitely consider purchasing again for a breakfast meal replacement.

The taste and texture is great but I do wish they had a bit less sugar. Sometimes I wonder if I'm eating a candy bar and almost feel guilty grabbing these in the morning. 4/5 because of the sugar content.
