Don't understand some of these reviews. They are not corn bread, more of a slightly light vanilla flavor. Yes, not overly moist but not dry either. Delicious if you are looking for a different kind of muffin that is not overly sweet. I thought great with a cup of tea!

Mantecadas are typical sturdy and tasty These are more moist cake-like muffins. There’s nothing wrong with that but in a meeting with Hispanic people only 3 1/2 were eaten so we probably won’t be purchasing these again. But they’re pretty tasty

A little dry with little flavor

Taste is good enough but they are very dry

Did not like the taste. Thought it would be similar to corn bread muffin however it was very bland.I used honey butter and toasted the muffin to give it some flavor

Was hoping these would taste like mantecadas and they missed the mark for me.
