I find that if my allergies are to a point where a loratadine isn’t relieving them enough, I reach for a Benadryl. It takes 15 minutes but I feel that relief. Only thing to consider is maybe taking this at night because it will generally cause drowsiness

I always have some Benadryl on hand as I sometimes get allergic skin reactions. It helps the itching. I just bought a new pkg of 24 - 25mg and the packing has changed for the worse. The instructions "break off and tear down" does not work. I have to use a knife to get the tablet out! Bring back the old corner opening tablet package which worked fairly well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I have seasonal allergies and I’ve tried so many different meds. This one is my least favorite. It makes me so sleepy. I guess you can’t itch if you’re sleeping. Definitely not for everyday.
