I recently got the Shark Glossi and I’ve been so happy with it. The first time I used it I noticed it combines heat and airflow in a way that feels different from a straight blow dryer or a brush on its own. It’s lightweight so holding it through my styling session isn’t tiring and the shape makes it easy to move through my hair without feeling awkward. Using it on damp hair first I could feel the airflow and warmth working together to smooth the waves instead of just drying them out as I went through my hair in sections, it became clear pretty quickly that this tool was acting more like a hot tool and a drying brush in one. I wasn’t fighting the frizz as much as I normally do and there was a noticeable sleekness to my hair once I got near the ends. The customizable settings helped too, switching between airflow and heat combinations made it easier to adjust based on how damp different sections were. It’s not instant, but after a few passes, it really does cut down the time I would normally spend with a separate dryer and brush. My hair felt smoother and looked more styled than usual versus just using a regular dryer or brush by themselves. Overall, I’m happy with how it fits into my routine. My hair ends up looking sleek and less frizzy them before which makes mornings feel a little easier. It doesn’t take the place of every tool I own, but for helping manage my thick wavy hair and giving it a styled look with minimal hassle. It’s been a reliable addition.

It works perfectly, I love the baby pink color and the design of it is well made and easy to grip and style.

I love that you can use it on wet hair or dry hair, eliminating the need to use both a hair dryer and flat iron. You can straighten or do more of a blown out look, and it’s very lightweight and easy to use. I also like that it smoothes your hair without heat damage and helps eliminate frizz.

The tool itself is designed well with its accessible buttons to operate the tool and the grips making it easy to use. There are a few heat settings as well and can be adjusted easily! I also like that this tool is easy to maintain and can be cleaned quickly. Overall, I’d recommend this for anyone looking to style their hair quickly and efficiently!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big fan of Shark products but have never tried out any of their hair items in the past, so I was excited to try out the Glossi 2 in 1. I used it twice on wet hair and it dried my hair faster than normal blow drying with a large round brush. It also provided a little extra lift to my hair and appeared smooth and shiny. The 3rd time using it is when things went downhill. I started using it again on wet hair and after about 2 minutes it shut off. Thinking it may have been an outlet fuse, I tested out other hair tools, which all worked just fine. I plugged the Glossi back in and it turned on, but after about 20 seconds it again shut off. After some investigating, it appears that the Glossi was shorting out whenever the swivel cord was moved in any direction. I tried it again about a week later hoping it was a fluke, but same issue continued to occur. Although I can comment on the effectiveness on wet hair, It didn’t work long enough for me to test on dry hair for styling purposes. I would not recommend this hair tool due to the high price point and the extremely short life span.

I love that it gives options to use dry and wet because I have a tendency to hate blow drying my hair with a normal hair dryer. This has been a game changer because it's a 2 in 1 hair dryer and styler. It helped my hair volume and kept it shiny and no frizz all day long. Surprisingly lightweight and easy to navigate with one hand thanks to the amazing swivel cord. I love the beautiful rose gold color it looks cute on my vanity. My hair texture is a curly wavy style and it picks and chooses when to look good naturally, so this is a staple must use for people with my hair type!

However, with regular use I noticed my hair started feeling drier and more damaged, especially on the ends. Even when using lower heat settings, it can be a bit harsh if used too often. I recommend using a good heat protectant and limiting how frequently you use it. Overall, it’s a great product and delivers nice results, but it’s important to be mindful of heat damage. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
