Tried two different flavors - mocha and caramel macchiato. The mocha had a better flavor and no aftertaste. Pleasant blend of coffee and chocolate. The caramel machiatto did leave an aftertaste of artificial sweetener. Also very sweet. The mocha was also very good over ice. Unfortunate they both have a lot of sodium for one drink.

These are pretty chalky tasting, which I did expect because a lot of these chocolate protein drinks are that way, but these just seemed even more chalky. The caramel macchiato flavor masks it a bit and wasn’t too bad, but the mocha flavored one was not great to be honest. Didn’t even taste like coffee, just very chalky and like fake sweeteners. If you are used to protein drinks and like them, these might be ok, but even for someone who drinks them occasionally like myself these just weren’t great.

I use this to make my iced coffee. I use the "over ice" option on my Keurig and add a cup of coffee to it. It cuts the sweet a bit and gives me more caffeine. I dump my cup of coffee and one bottle into my cup and I am good to go for the morning!

Fantastic product. Both flavors are great. I love drinking coffee and this product is a fantastic way to blend coffee with a protein drink. Its creamy and smooth like a latte but retains the coffee flavor. Doesnt even feel like a protein shake. Best had chilled. Would definitely recommend it.

The Premier Protein Mocha shake was absolutely delicious. It is the right amount of chocolate flavor, very smooth and does not leave any funky after taste behind that protein drinks often do. If you’re looking for a very coffee flavored drink, then this is not it (which was honestly okay with me). The bottle claims to equal one cup of coffee in caffeine content, but I do not feel like it was an adequate replacement for my morning cup of coffee as a headache from not enough caffeine was experienced afterwards. The salted caramel flavor was definitely more coffee tasting, but not as delicious as the mocha flavor. The drink did a good job of keeping hunger at bay and left me feeling satisfied after drinking it. Drinker beware-if you are sensitive to lactose, this is NOT the drink for you, unfortunately.

I enjoyed these shakes. I have tried several brands of protein shakes and although these are not my favorite, I would definitely buy one if my top choice wasn't available. As I'm not a coffee drinker, I liked the Mocha better than the Carmel Macchiato as it didn't have that coffee after-taste. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and very drinkable. The Caramel Macchiato seems to be a great choice for someone that normally enjoys coffee. I still liked the sweetness of the caramel and smoothness of the shake, but coffee is just not for me as I am not a fan of the harshness. I give these shakes 4 stars as they have room for improvement but are much better than many other brands out there!

At first the Carmel Macchiato had a nice taste, but unfortunately had a lingering bad aftertaste. The Mocha was nice though. Smooth taste, no lingering strong after taste. Premier Protein is my go to for protein shakes (especially the Peanut Butter flavor), but I prefer them in the cardboard carton rather then the plastic (I found that it changes the flavor), which probably accounts for the weird aftertaste.

These protein drinks are delicious! I’ve had a few other flavors from this brand, but the Caramel Macchiato is my favorite so far. The flavor is rich without being overly sweet, and they’re perfect straight from the fridge. I’d definitely purchase these again.
