Great high protein snack that fills you up

Premier Protein has always made good protein drinks. I bought their vanilla and chocolate and usually drink one for breakfast every day. I use the vanilla in my coffee is creamer and I know I'm getting a little extra protein with my coffee. These two new flavors are no exception. The mocha and cappuccino flavors taste great. They're not too sweet and provide the usual 30 g of protein that the Premier Protein drinks are known for. I would definitely recommend this to a friend if you're tired of chocolate and vanilla.

Premier Protein 30g Coffeehouse Shakes

Premier Protein 30g Coffeehouse Shakes (11.5 fl. oz.) are a convenient and reliable option for anyone looking to combine protein intake with a coffee-style energy boost. Each bottle delivers 30 grams of protein along with a moderate amount of caffeine, making it a solid choice for busy mornings, post-workout recovery, or an afternoon pick-me-up. The flavors, especially Caramel Macchiato and Mocha, stand out for being smooth and creamy with a taste that closely resembles iced coffee rather than a typical protein shake. Nutritionally, they strike a good balance with low sugar and relatively low calories, which is ideal for those watching their diet. The texture is easy to drink—not overly thick or chalky like some protein beverages. However, there can be a slight artificial aftertaste depending on your preference. Overall, these shakes are a great grab-and-go option, offering both energy and protein in one convenient bottle.

Too sweet but kept me full

I tried this coffee protein shake one morning, and while it definitely gets the job done, it wasn't quite my cup of tea. On the plus side, it’s incredibly filling, it kept me satisfied and energized all the way through lunch without any mid-morning cravings. However, the flavor was just way too sweet for my liking. It had that heavy, artificial sweetness that overpowered the actual coffee taste. If you already have some in your fridge, I’d suggest diluting it with a splash of unsweetened black coffee or cold brew to balance out the sugar. Ultimately, it wasn't for me, but it might work for someone with a serious sweet tooth.

Premier Protein coffeehouse

It had a noticeably chalky consistency that made it difficult to enjoy. Instead of feeling smooth and easy to drink, each sip felt a bit gritty, almost like the powder hadn’t fully dissolved. The flavor itself wasn’t terrible at first, but the aftertaste really lingered in an unpleasant way. It had that artificial, slightly bitter finish that sticks around long after you’ve taken a sip. Even trying to chase it with water didn’t fully get rid of that lingering taste. On the positive side, it did seem filling

Delicious

I am not a big fan of coffee and I have never had a protein drink in my life so I didn’t have expectations for this drink. These are delicious. They have a nice creamy texture and taste very good for a product with no added sugar. I prefer the caramel macchiato (personal preference) to the mocha but both are tasty.

Great Start to the Morning

I recently started drinking protein drinks. What I like best about the premier shakes is that there wasn't any added sugar in them. Which gives them bonus points for me. I really liked the Mocha shake. The flavor was not over powering so i was able to drink it straight from the bottle wothout adding other ingredients. The reason for the 4 stars other than 5 is that it would be nice if the packs came in all Mocha as an option. To me the Carmel was ok but not my favorite. I'm not big on sweets and the drink tasted a little sweet to me.

A caffeinated protein drink

These were very flavorful and not too thick. The mocha was basically like chocolate milk- just a very faint coffee flavor. The caramel macchiato had a much stronger coffee flavor. 4 in our family- 2 loved the mocha, 2 loved the Caramel macchiato. Personal preference I guess. The fact that it has caffeine and is a filling protein drink is definitely a bonus!

Your Coffee Routine Just Got a Protein Upgrade

Mocha This one’s for the chocolate-coffee lovers. It tastes like a mild mocha latte — not too bitter, not overly sweet — and the texture is smooth enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re choking down a protein shake. The coffee flavor is there without being in your face about it, which is nice if you want the caffeine vibe without feeling like you just chugged an espresso. Solid pick for breakfast on the go or after a workout. I also love using it as a creamer in my coffee — it adds a nice mocha twist and a protein boost without needing to add anything else. Caramel The Caramel is the more indulgent of the two — think caramel macchiato vibes, sweet and a little buttery. The coffee takes more of a backseat here, which makes it feel almost like a dessert drink. Honestly, it’s a little too easy to drink, which is either a selling point or a warning depending on how you look at it. I’ve also been pouring this one into my coffee as a creamer, and it’s a game changer — it sweetens everything up naturally and turns a plain cup into something that feels way more special. Overall Both shakes do what Premier Protein does best: pack in 30g of protein without tasting like chalk or sadness. Around 160–180 calories, low sugar, and actually enjoyable — the Coffee House line feels like a small upgrade for anyone who’s gotten bored with the usual vanilla and chocolate rotation. And if you haven’t tried using them as creamers yet, that’s honestly the move — extra protein, great flavor, and no need for separate sweeteners or creamers. Hard to go wrong with either, but if you’re more of a coffee person, grab the Mocha. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, the Caramel won’t disappoint.

Ingredients no, taste yes!

Shipping: came quickly, shipped in brown envelope. No complaints. Packaging: I really love this packaging. The design is really cute, with the coffee theme and the colors are pretty. The shape of the bottle is also nice. Easy to grip and feels really satiny. The cap is nice and wide, easy to drink from and easy to grip and open. Ingredients: it has 30 grams of protein and No added sugar. I think most people would consider this ideal. The list of minerals and vitamins are very nice. However the ingredients are not what I usually buy. I would prefer natural stuff, especially when it comes to sweetness. I’d rather have a bland drink than artificial sweetener. They also managed to out in a lot of stuff I usually avoid, like artificial flavors, carrageenans, and while I’m not opposed to seed oil, I’m not sure how they managed to add that in there or why. Taste: this is the best part of the product. This is probably the smoothest, silkiest protein shake I have ever had. To be fair I haven’t had many but there is no chalkiness or lumpiness. The aftertaste is just sugar. Sweet, sweet sugar. There’s not a lot of chemical taste but you can still taste a bit. The coffee flavor is assertive, I had the caramel macchiato and the mocha, one had a nice hint of chocolate and the other tasted a bit like caramel but mostly sugar. I would say it was pretty true to the flavor. Overall this was a tasty shake that delivers a lot of protein with not a lot of sugar, as well as other minerals and stuff. I am not sure I would buy it due to all the chemical additives, especially when there are so many organic and natural options on the market. The taste was very nice though and better than anything else I’ve had as far as being smooth and creamy, with no chalkiness. I am the type that would sacrifice taste for ingredients, but this would work for me, as a tasty treat once in awhile, and it keeps me full for hours.

Quick, Filling, and Convenient—But Not Real Coffee

It’s honestly just an easy grab when you don’t feel like making breakfast. It keeps you full and gives you a bit of a caffeine boost, which is nice. The taste is okay—kind of like a sweet iced coffee, but not exactly like real coffee. It might seem to be a little artificial, but it’s not bad once you get used to it. It’s not something you’d drink for the flavor alone, but it works well if you just want something quick and filling.
