This one tasted great, I love the chicken and maple flavor, and I didn't have that usual coating that I don't like. It was great.

I got the chicken one and surprisingly it was good. It was a perfect size for a quick bite when you just wanted a snack. Having clean ingredients were nice as well. Normally, jerkies tend to be salty, but it was just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Low Sugar Meat Sticks by The New Primal Chicken and maple is interesting but hard to find. I asked a couple from England to help me find it. When I looked at the package it says jokes on every wrapper. I didn't know where the joke was but then I slowly peeled the wrapper apart and I smelled it and it stank to me. And the joke said; "Between us, something smells!" I nearly fell out!! Seriously!!! The actual meat stick tastes alright. It had a grainy texture. I like that it doesn't have a lot of additives. This is better than other meat sticks that I've tried.

Not only do I love the fact that this brand offers low sugar options but the flavor varieties are out of this world. I mean have you ever seen a Chicken and Maple version before. And yes, they taste just as good as they sound and the texture is wonderful! I will be trying all varieties at my local grocery store and am hoping they all live up this one!
